Love my 2021/22 Alchemist 160 and so bought a 2023 Alchemist 163. Two very different boards. The 163 is more work edge to edge, more effort to ride fast and carve hard on. Probably 163 will be better in deeper snow or lighter weight bindings (currently Burton Custom X) once it breaks in. Size 10.5 Ions, 185lbs. 5'10"
ps and also bought a '23 a Ride Berzerker 157W with Union Force L. now that is a snappy carvey, lightweight ride which so far seems able to absorb anything I aim it towards. And if you want it can be so hooky to finish a turn, the fun is limitless. Also the board is wicked fast edge to edge even with the Wide version. And the base.... surprise surprise
