After a busy day at work in the hospital I really enjoyed this one. All my stresses are gone as soon as I start watching your video. Love this fun casual style of yours , thanks for sharing your generous talent !
I love how you painted this every brush stroke is perfection and then you wipe away with your finger it looks amazing! Maybe if I follow along I may be able to paint the flowers🤷♀️. Every time I watch your videos I can’t believe how messy your palette is but you make it work….maybe that’s my problem my palette is orderly! Thank you for teaching us!
Been away for a bit and boy did I miss painting with you. Broke my leg in 3 places and then got cellulitis....ouch! wish I could say I was zip lining and fell out of a tree....truth be told, I was hurrying down the hall to go to the potty and I fell. not the most impressive story. Anyway, after much recovery in hospital and rehabs, I'm finally back at an easel and ready to get back to it. love your roses, still not so easy, but ready to keep practicing!😃
Dear Mr. Jansen , I'm a new sub but been watching your videos for sometime now. Your roses are so beautiful. I've been painting not for very long. I started before my husband passed over 4 years now. It was in oils. I'm in acrylics now. Bought some of your starter paints an got some new brushes. I've been trying for sometime now to paint a simple rose.! Uuugh!!! I've watched many many times your roses videos and I just don't know what it is I'm doing wrong. They end up looking like peonies..lol. ..just wanted you to know I love your flowers and your art work. Teria from oklahoma!

Mesmerizing! Your touch is the thing! I can imagine using the same touch with landscapes, portraits, etc. I always get confused about what's a warm and a cool color, though, haha! Also--what kind of board are you painting on, please? Thank you for this tutorial!
I use my end of day paints to paint a background for the next painting... I just throw them on and see what happens :) Then, I have to figure out what to do next lol
