It is annoying when people use their sex as a shield. It is also annoying when people try to criticize something without knowing anything about it.
I’ve always thought of EFAP just being a recorded discussion at a pub and that’s usually how it plays out. The people in lockstep getting mad that you can discuss something for 12 or so hours just tell on themselves when they get buttmad about others doing it, probably because they couldn’t pay attention for longer than five minutes without Subway Surfers footage playing in the background.
Have to also factor in the times they get sidetracked off topic to either help make a point or just because they desperately want to avoid watching something.. like the Lore they came up with for Goliath

Jebby is unironically a very twofaced and insincere person. Like, Anna (ThatStarWarsGirl) has gone into a bit (I can't remember which Efap it was) but Jebby likes to lie, to seem much more like a quirky normie girl than she actually is. I'd compare her to The Cuckman, but Jenny's less likely to sit on a fence than she is to just try to gaslight people into thinking she's a victim, and that she doesn't care, "but that it's also totally messed but also totally funny but also totally sad i guess but whatever, no biggee I guess".
Which is to say, the boys can't fix her. Because there's nothing to fix about her, my totally real e-girlfriend quirky normie nerdy e-girl girlfriend who is totally being bullied by these MYSOGYNISTS and their DOG who HATE WOMEN!

I'd argue it's a sled movie, if we are going to categorize it by the most important object.
On a serious note, I recognize what an important movie it was. Many of the techniques used to express ideas visually on film first appeared in Kane. Virtually all of those techniques are still used to this day, of course some are now done digitally, and others with specialized rigs. (As opposed to things like literally tearing up the floor near where an actor will stand so the camera can be below him to make him look huge and important - for instance.)
Again, I recognize the importance of the movie. And the mystery of "Rosebud" is one of cinema's best and it"s payoff one of the most satisfying in movie history. BUT...
I find my interest in most of the movie falls somewhere in the range between watching paint dry and observing someone else do their algebra homework.
For a long time I dismissed CK as one of those movies everyone talks about without ever seeing, and it's just accepted wisdom that it's great. When I finally watched it, I found it is really an intriguing, absorbing movie. I think there's too much focus put on its greatness and ground-breaking technical genius. People get so wound up trying to admire the technological wizardry they forget to watch it as a story-telling vehicle. I pay attention to the lighting and the set design, but mostly I get absorbed by the story of the characters.

It’s my biggest internet pet peeve when people post their opinions publicly and seemingly forget how internet discourse works. Jenny releases a bad video on Joker and EFAP responses to it then you have simpletons on twitter spurgging as if women are somehow immune to having stupid takes. This chick thought the theme of Joker was “don’t take medication” if the 99.9% of male creators EFAP has covered no one would’ve care if they were made fun of for having such a brain dead take.
It’s an unfortunate side effect of modern feminism. When a man says “treat women like children” it’s sexism. But when women say “believe all women, criticism is misogyny” (which treats women as *less* than children btw) it’s empowering.

The 11hrs thing is why company's sell things for 9.99 or 9.95 the subconscious thing of thinking it's less than it really is
I thibk its more because it forces clerks to get change instead of pocketing the exact amount.
That, and people subconsciously feel better about buying something because the clerks "give" them something back, even if it is just a piece of copper it hits that "Wow he gave ME something too!" part of the brain. Not sure where that comes from though, I never like being handed change.
What I learned in the pricing course during culinary school is something called inherent value. Basically, items that are priced ending .99 cent tricks the brain into thinking it's a lower cost, and items priced with a whole dollar amount have that inherent value of being a higher quality. This is why all middle-class and high-end restaurants use whole numbers. A meal priced at $14.99 mentally feels cheaper in quality than a meal priced for $15.
This is why you see people complain about the length of an EFAP in terms like "It was an 11 hour video!" Instead of "It was an 11 hour and 48 minute long video!" It devalues your Longman Bad argument as the natural response would be something in the nature of, "What they couldn't spring for that extra 12 minutes?"

I was 19 when listening to this Efap at my Wal-Mart job.
Jenny made a FIVE HOUR video ripping on a hotel that didn't even exist anymore, and got praise, even in the mainstream media. Yeah, so hard being a woman on youtube.
To give her credit, it's not like she just did a raw podcast riff for five hours. She presented her opinions, b roll footage and other shit in a 5 hour long fully edited together video which isn't exactly something that can be done over a weekend or someshit. Not to say the EFAP guys need to do that, but let's be real she's getting praise for a well edited documentary that criticizes Disney Park's current mindset.
God forbid she is rewarded for doing well put together content and people clowned on guys who were pissy about she disliking the jajas movie

The editing that I have done makes the jumps that much more noticeable to me. Kinda makes it hard to sit through her videos, which is why I don’t watch that many.

She’d never accept. Even if she did, empty-heads would still fall back on the fact they made the video at all. We’ve already seen that when people are shown that only 4h of the 11h stream is rebutting her arguments. It could be an hour (her video is 30mins) and they’d still complain. Even though these people fall over themselves for guys like HBomberGuy which makes hours long videos, which are scripted. Obviously a livestream isn’t gonna trim the fat so it’d be longer. But they’re not expressly democrats/progressives, so they don’t get a pass.

This is the quintessential NPC response to criticizing EFAP. The amount of milage that YT thumbnail screenshot has gotten while being the easiest thing to shut down is straight up depressing.
What I find amusing however, is that most people posting that pic to criticize EFAP don't know anything about them beyond that single image. But apparently they already have a firm conclusion that you guys are undoubtedly evil of the most misogynistic kind.

I went to school for TV and Film production in the early 90s, editing film and videotape. By the time I graduated and got my first job, the internet happened, and things were already going to digital. I had my first digital video camera by 2000. Either the guy retired in 1995 with a lifetime supply of analog equipment, or is trolling.

But some of these brainlets also have the mentality that talking about media longer than its length is somehow ridiculous. So as said, she ripped on Joker, and as part of a nearly 12-hour stream, EFAP took her to task, as they do. This was years ago--this is just a clip from an old stream. Jenny's response was "long man bad" and her fans brigaded the video and their Twitter accounts.

For the people who are going to, and have already responded to this the *FULL* context of this is:
Jenny was trying to contact Disney as a regular customer, through their regular customer service channels, or items she'd purchased that she didn't receive and refunds for her poor experience (in accordance with Disney's reefund policy). When she reached out through the *NORMAL* channels for people like you, me, and the majority of people she was denied and ignored. It was only *AFTER* the standard channels failed did she reach out with her "professional" (see: influencer) account to complain about the matter, which then Disney *promptly* got in touch with her to "make amends".
Jenny didn't go "lol Disney bad" to have them send her free shit. She had a bad time at a Disney park experience, attempted to go through the standard channels, and when that failed she had to actually use her "influencer" status to get Disney to actually do their jobs.
There's a lot of reasons to dislike Jenny, this aint one of them.

Vita explained that Jenny is a relevant topic at the moment due to her highly critical video on Disney's Star Wars Hotel, which prompted Disney to file a takedown claim against her as it paints them in a bad light -- which is ironic from the perspective of EFAP viewers, as Jenny was one of the people who happily shilled for Disney's handling of Star Wars (until most recently).
That has quite literally nothing to do with race, or politics. It's all algorithm engagement specifically, and media consumption broadly. Why would you bring that to the conversation, seemingly, to explain why you don't care?
Do you need this to be a matter of race or politics for you to care? Or can this just be about what Efap is normally about; Media?

Most of Jenny's videos are fine. Efap took her to task on Joker because her Joker take was horrendously off-base. She left the film with the (dismissive) assumption that the film is an advocate for *not* taking medication, something the film at *NO* point even suggests. Her entire video seems entirely insincere, when you try to correlate her points with the actual film. That simply means Jenny either wasn't following the film (which is fine) or didn't understand the film (which is also fine).
But, when Efap dismantled her arguments it called her media literacy in this matter in question in a very unfavorable light. Which how much she got demonstrably wrong about the film, pointing out how horrifically wrong she was become most of their covrage on her, which then got to twitter and blew up because people made the false equivalency that the crew were targeting Jenny and mocking her because she was a woman, rather than that her Joker take was just genuinely, demonstrably shit.
I don't think Efap has seen all of Jenny's videos. I don't think they'd say all of her videos are bad, or, even if they did, that you shouldn't like them.
Because, frankly, a lot of them are pretty alright.
