  • This guided meditation-part of the system of practices known as the "four applications of mindfulness"-is focused on experiencing our physical sensations directly, without conceptual overlays and proxy mental images. By removing the interfering projections, we train in the skill of clearly discerning different layers of our mental activity: perceptual and conceptual. This increases clarity of vision and makes us less reactive.
