I wish there was more information about this and had known about my gene years ago. What a difference it could have made my entire life. Thank you for this information.
thanks for the perfect explanation, i have just a question: 'm a cyclist and a runner and have a thalassemia trait so i usually take several supplements, especially b complex for the folic acid benefits and so on.. would you recommend to try L-Methylfolate , could it be beneficial for my blood, hemoglobin levels etc?
I just started taking this 4 days ago. It's the only thing I have recently changed in my life. I'm trying to get my health back in check. I am sleeping again and my energy is through the roof. I'm not sure if this is just a coincidence or not. I feel 10 years younger. I can't say yet if it's a fluke or the l methylfolate but this could be life changing.
I have been using Deplin for 12 years after testing Positive for both Maternal and Paternal MTHFR. I have somehow been able to afford it so far but now its $194 every three months and the insurance says its not FDA approved that's why they won't cover it....your video just said it is FDA approved...confused? You mention that there are over the counter supplements that can work also.....can you give me more information on supplements that would work also?? Thank you
Is this supplement something that is out of the question for someone with bipolar disorder? if they have the gene mutation and haven't had complete success with their mood stabilizer? thinking about asking my Psychiatrist about this hopefully he doesn't look at me as if I have two heads.
When you did testing for the MTHER, did that test include the Pham genetic enzyme panel as well ? I missing the CYP2d6 totally non existent. Made sense finally as to why SSRI s prescribed for over 20 years didn’t help. I have a question for the doctor, I’m in northern calif. I have had the testing done. I also have Mast cell activation disorder, hEDS, spinal issues and brain fog, severe neurological dysfunction. I’m terrified to be prescribed medication as not one physician has actually read my testing and results. I do the best I can advocating for myself, how should someone list abnormalities in a medical chart? I d like to know what specific physician I should request for a referral who could assist in deciphering the results, and help flag my chart so I’m not given another IV of 3 potentially toxic substances . I’m so exhausted from being accused of being confrontational when I attempted to explain and advocated for myself when a IV which had 3 medications I cannot metabolize, 2 noted on my chart as a allergy and being told that a ER is the safest place in case I “Do” go into anaphylactic shock , then how will I convince staff that antihistamines do not work as well ?
@@TransformationsCareNetwork Thanks! I have been suffering from extreme fatigue the last few months. I got a blood test and my Doctor told me last week that I am deficient in Folate. I purchased Methylfolate with no knowledge that I have the MTHFR gene. Does that matter? In other words: is supplementing Methylfolate superior than supplementing Folate or Folic Acid for everyone that is deficient?
@@jamesheseltine8283 I also started it three months ago. You I noticed a slight difference in my depression. I also have that same gene. Found out four months ago. It’s very expensive. The supplement is.

And when I say energy is through the roof I'm talking like being 12 year old adhd hyper. I'm blown away.
Should i take L-methlfolate and folic acid together
No as they will compete for absorbation in the stomach
