Michael Richards is amazing when he goes to take her picture....he makes it look like it really happened, not like an actor doing a gag intentionally, the flash going off accidentally in his eyes is done so smoothly
Fun fact: the receptionist at the end who agrees with Elaine, Carol Leifer-a writer and story editor for the show-was the inspiration for the character Elaine Benes.
That woman was NO friend to Elaine. Made her walk 3 blocks with SKI equipment. Even if she were just carrying heavy bags a FRIEND drops you off at or near your door, at least 1 block away. That was really trifling
That was going to be the deal breaker and end the friendship even if the 'friend' hadn't wanted to charge her for treating the resulting injury. I love the classic Seinfeld deal breaker moments. Jerry's get dragged out longer when it's a girlfriend. Remember 'man hands?'
Elaine: "You might want to something about that hair?" Wendy: Why, what's wrong with my hair?" Elaine: "I think that it's a little 'old fashion', don't you?" Elaine's deliver on all those lines are coupled with perfect facial expressions. Comedy at its BEST!
Her father in the show was a famous author so odds are she grew up in money and probably actually went/goes skiing quite often. The show is mainly about what happens when the four of them hang out and sometimes we forget they have a life and friends outside of the four of them who they probably do much different things with them then when the four of them hang out together.
I LOVE Seinfeld and I LOVE Elaine Benes!❤She is my favorite! I LOVE when Elaine talks about Wendys old fashion hair style! And George trys to keep in his laugh in the background. Its so funny 🤣 4:44
It's not a show about nothing, it's a show about navigating a world of trivial yet somehow still fraught social situations, wherein either the main characters are the ones transgressing (George asks about his arm, Kramer being weird enough to be relied on to break social rules and tell a person her hair is weird), or their temporary friends are (old lady hair, dropping her friend off three blocks early). I think this is in fact the show that introduced the phrase "fauxe pas" into my vocabulary.
Julia Louis Dreyfus is the first to cringe at her past hair, but I like it, probably because her hair is a quick way to tell what season it is. The more modern her hair got, the worse the show started to get because Larry David left.
I hate when people ask me about their car troubles without intending to pay me to diagnose it. If you meet someone that offers a service professionally which you need, don’t ask them about your problem, just ask for a business card.
"Still thinking about the question". 😂😂😂😂😂😂
It’s so rare when Elaine and George are on the same page, against someone 😅, even for a brief moment.
4 real !!
Right? Them teaming up is absolutely fantastic. I wish the show did it more often.
@@AliciaNybladeI love when they team up!
Not really. George got Elaine to lie for him to Susan about Marisa Tomei. She also helped George poison his boss.
You spelled for wrong. It’s not a number
Love how Kramer always does the opposite of what they expect him to do 🤣
It's always great hearing George's, "Ahhh.... Haaaa...." Moments. Lol 😄
"You stuck your hand out, so I shook it."
"AHHH....HAAAA!"
That one's my favorite
I just had a doctor do this George is goals
Wendie Malick is so talented. She's a delight to watch in every role.
Hot in Cleveland.
So true! Love her!
she's a great physical comedianne. Loved Hot in Cleveland
@@kerprice Hot in Cleveland and You Tube made the lock-down enjoyable. That and The Newhart show.
I sat next to her at a dinner once. She was talking about protecting wild mustangs I think? I really liked her :)
“I’m just thinking about the question” 😂😂😂
Michael Richards is amazing when he goes to take her picture....he makes it look like it really happened, not like an actor doing a gag intentionally, the flash going off accidentally in his eyes is done so smoothly
The episode when they get lost in the garage he acctually carries a real air condition in the box to make it real. :)
Was it accidental
@redfordreddington8834 have you tried kicking it
It's overacted but it's ok
And just what came of that Polaroid?
Wendy Malick has a great voice
She really does ❤
She's a really good voice actor too. She voices Edna Clawthorne, Beatrice Horseman, Beautiful Gorgeous and others.
She is in Young sheldon 2:51
She does. A unique voice

Remember, if you ever see Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David in the street, you must not disturb their delicate comedy genius with questions
LOL!
Follow and wait until they enter an office.
However, if you DO see Larry David in the street wearing a cape, feel free to come up to him and ask for legal advice.
Disturbing Jerry Seinfeld's comedic genius is like asking Kramer about hair.
That's highly unlikely to happen but if it does l could ask Larry if he wants to go somewhere for a salad.
I hear everything.... Georgie boy with his fingers snapping 😂😂😂. This guy is so hilarious 😅
Fun fact: the receptionist at the end who agrees with Elaine, Carol Leifer-a writer and story editor for the show-was the inspiration for the character Elaine Benes.
Oh yes you are right, Howard Interviewed her
Thank you for sharing. That's interesting to know. I'm going to watch the full episode again.
Very interesting trivia fact! Thanks so much for sharing!! :-)
It makes sense that her character agrees with elaine about the hair.
Well I’ll be!!
I've been saying "delicate genius" ever since this episode first aired way back when. 😂😂
We mustn't disturb the delicate genius unless huge sum's of money are involved! Love George's Frugal Ways! 🤣🤣
I love George’s smarmy look when Elaine mentions the hair
De-li-cate GE-ni-us! The way he delivers that line makes it so much funnier.
"Is there something wrong with him?" 🤣🤣🤣
“Is there anything wrong with him” pause…. 😂
I love George backing up Elaine and the laughing look he gives, it's so high school but adults really do it all the time too
"Is there anything wrong with him?" {long pause} gotta be my favorite scene of the entire series.
I'm just thinking about the question.!!! LOL. The subtleties. Amazing this show is.
The acting and the timing is incredible on this show.
This is funnier now considering how old-fashed elaine's hairdo now looks!
But not in the thumbnail....where it counts!
...ha-HAAAA!! ...I came here to SAY that, and ya BEAT me to it! ...that 1991 Amy Grant "Baby Baby" hairdo, Elaine, GURL......
I actually think Elaine’s hair still looks great. It’s just she kept it in that style for so long, it started being associated with the character.
@@RBS_Not 'Baby Baby' 😂😂
That was the jam though 😂
right, it looks awful 😅
That woman was NO friend to Elaine. Made her walk 3 blocks with SKI equipment. Even if she were just carrying heavy bags a FRIEND drops you off at or near your door, at least 1 block away. That was really trifling
Elaine's friend is not real, she can't hurt you... easy there.
You Do understand this show is fabricated?
Total power trip behaviour
That was going to be the deal breaker and end the friendship even if the 'friend' hadn't wanted to charge her for treating the resulting injury. I love the classic Seinfeld deal breaker moments. Jerry's get dragged out longer when it's a girlfriend. Remember 'man hands?'
That's why Elaine only has true male friends. I don't blame her. Woman can be trifling...lol 😅
The end there feels like one of the few times George and Elaine were on the same page and got along
Always unintentionally hilarious when Jerry, of all people, has notes on other people's hair
A perfect episode in every respect. Top 5 stuff! The suspense that Michael Richards creates when he first meets Wendy is pure comedic genius.
What season what episode number 😊??
No one does the having trouble carrying things bit, better than Elaine Benis! From shopping bags to ski equipment she’s so funny. 😂
She inspired the "too many limes" guy.
Benes
Don't forget Dancing 💃🏻😂😂😂
My favorite line from that episode is, "I hear everything."
snap snap snap
Well your favorite line is a little bit old fashioned!
George and Elaine, when they're not ripping on each other, are the ultimate duo when it comes to dressing people down lol.
The Delicate Genius!

1:13 "She looks like something out of an old highschool yearbook" - Lmao this aged well
Lol that’s because she did even then, that ‘do is very early 60s
Yes, before Jerry said that, I thought she walked out of a Lawrence Welk show.
LOL georges face when elaine sticks it to her friend
"I was just thinking about the question." 😂
Wendt Mallick is a legend!
"She's right" lol that was the clincher.
The delicate genius has a policy!
Just watched this episode again last night 😄👍
Ya gotta love Elaine for being direct!🥰
I love this show
I'm surprised Elaine has her own ski gear. How often did she go skiing?
Her father in the show was a famous author so odds are she grew up in money and probably actually went/goes skiing quite often. The show is mainly about what happens when the four of them hang out and sometimes we forget they have a life and friends outside of the four of them who they probably do much different things with them then when the four of them hang out together.
Its funny how they all have old fashioned hair
What are they talking about? That hair looks gorgeous
They thought Kramer, he of the bizarre hairdo, would tell Elaine's friend to change her hair?
Of course they did.
The forgotten element they didn't consider is, Kramer doesn't think like them.
The receptionist at the end is Carol Leifer, one of the show’s writers.
Also the inspiration for the character Elaine Benes
I can't get over Michael Richards' genius.

Elaine and her complicated ways to carry a pair of skis, can’t imagine how she did on the slopes…
She did OK once she hit the slopes. She just needed someone to carry the skis there. Lol.
Such a great clip
Elaine with the pompadour and Jerry with the mullet talking about her haircut being unflattering lmao ok
Don't crack and fall down from your glass floor, Elaine.
Kramer getting hit with his own camera flash.....oh Kramer, never change comrade
Funniest part.
They just wanted to see Kramer roast this lady. Ahhahaha
That was a masterpiece . The whole series. Can be seen and reseen and so on..
Yes
Who needs enemies when you have friends like Kramer 💀
Elaine unable to answer in the car when the woman asks if Kramer is ok to go out with... LOL
I’m a hairstylist and I think Elaine and her friends hair looks fabulous. You go girl
No really sure it's an older style but she looks great with it
@@Pete_xpno she doesn't
Wendy's looks way better than Elaine's old do. EB looks like grade school hair of the 1950s.
Agreed! Wear your hair how ya like it!
Anything looks better than straight shoulder-length "no hairdo" hairdo.
She should have told her her hair is amazing and she should never change it.
Now Elaine's hairdo is old fashioned
We need more Wendie Malick---- One of those actors who come on set, do the job , humble, , keeps herself classy ,

I love this show. Kramer is so extreme hahaha!
I love her hair.
That hairdo scares me lol!
Watching this in 2023 looking at Elaine’s hair like…
I had a teacher with her hairstyle in the early 2000s and used to be blown away she still wore her hair like that
You can still see poodle head hair in Schaumburg, IL to this day!

@@sup9542 Some of the show's best episodes are from seasons 8 and 9
The Big Hair Flip of the early 1960s is definitely classic. I can’t do the bouffant though. I like Elaine’s hair too. Lol
It would have been funny of both couldn't open the door going out after remarking on her hairdo...😆
At 15 never paid attention to Seinfeld. Im 39 now and in love with Elaine 😮❤🎉
Elaine has NO business talkin about someone's hairdo 😂
Kramer got that strong tism
With the exception of Dream On (Aack!), I've enjoyed everything I've seen Wendie Malick in.

Ironically enough, that hairstyle came back into fashion a couple of years after this: I think that some of Jerry's girlfriends even have it!
