Aaron, like someone mentioned.. no blah blah..screwing around etc.. just right straight to the point and you are darn GOOD !!!! Excellent explanation. I have your website on my favourites.
Can't believe I've just found your video dude and it's 13yrs old already! Great lesson and I hope you're still gigging - thanks heaps, now I can play the song properly!! 👍👍
Great Job, besides watching Eric himself and trying to get it, you helped me get this in one sit down. You're better than the rest on you tube on this song for sure. Thanks for sharing.
..hey...thank you so-much, brother..it does have some-complexity...parta' its beauty, I guess-- but you have skills & smoothness-- and I appreciate you explaining & sharing with all of us..for breaking-it-down, in-parts, then "rollin' back-through-it", so we can hear & feel-the-flow...very nice...thank-you, Aaron !
One of my favorites from Master Eric. Young man, you have a talent and a gift for teaching. This is probably the best teaching video I've seen yet. Your taste in instruments is also top notch! I play a Tak just like the one used in your video. Beautiful sound. Thank you...!
Perhaps this will shed some light on how "Master Eric" got this song completed and recorded. Search RUclips for this title: Eric Clapton | Change The World | Dean Parks | Tim Pierce | Performance | Talk
Man, you're gooooooood.... great job playing and explainin... I have absolutely no idea how to play a guitar but you kinda made me wanna learn... cheers on that! xo from Argentina
With a second accoustic playing, as you walk up the neck have the 2nd guitar play a more of a bass line with a power A (second fret bar) using your 3rd finger to hit the D string 3rd and 4th frets and on the E chord use the base root chord with a pinky hitting the A string 3rd and 4th frets, a basic rock and roll thing but chopping the rythym out with down and up strokes and some of your right wrist dulling the strings out on those chops. I play this along with the CD and the mix imho is good together :).
Excellent teaching Aaron! I know it's hard to pack a complete lesson into a 10 minute RUclips video, but would love to know how you're getting that rhythm pattern with your right hand. Cheers.
Hey Aaron, thanks for the great tutorial on "Change the World"! I love that song, & u saved me a bunch of time, showing how it's played in such an EZ to follow lesson!! Btw, I teach too. Mostly children, & mostly really easy songs, but some classical guitar as well. I'll be back for more of ur lessons!
Great job and i like how your right hand hits the right notes in a sort of strum instead of muting. Did that come fairly natural? Seems like it would be tough to learn. Big paws always good for playing those 4 fret stretches too!!! Real good job!!
If you do a bar chord G# You lift the pinky finger to go from 466566 to 464566. That would make a G# major 7th chord (G#7). Seventh chords are very easy to learn and you can apply them in a lot of songs. Go check out some lessons about major and minor 7th chords! :)
I think if you sign up and send him a request. He does after all answer our requests. Plus, he has so much theory to show us, I don't see why you want to learn and play the song if you don't know what it is, or what chords you're playing. They do different lessons.
@@caseyspaos448 Nope. The A7 chord played in this song has a C# which is the 3rd note from root A. Ryan 1995 could be right or wrong depending on how you interpret "middle note".. I assume he means taking the octave A on the G string down to a G note which is the 7th note now making the chord an A7 from A major.
i really wish i could play the guitar. i tried before, but my fingers hurts so much so i stopped. i like this song so much, i didn't know it is this complicated. :-) great tutorial and i like your accent. :-)
your version sounds right - it's not the way i learned it or the way eric plays it when you watch him...but yours sure sounds right..?? good job explaining also btw!! thanks
This is great, I am trying to learn fingerpicking, this shows another technique used by the zen master of guitars Eric Clapton! I love his unplugged stuff, I have lessons also but not fingerpicking :P
this is hands down the best "change the world" instructional on youtube! thanks so much for sharing, great playing.
I've wanted to know these chords for a while now. I never could find someone who knew them, let alone play them. You're great, man! Thanks a million!
I have ties older than you...u r a good teach. Thank you...I'm going to try to get this down. And I dig your helmet.

Well done! Thank you, helped a lot.
an A major with out the middle note is an A7
Nope. A7 has the 7th degree. This is an A without the 3rd.
