This is massive protection for the iPad. But the hinge cover for the pen is worthless, the cover falls off every time you open or bump it. At first I thought I broke it. I guess if you want to hold your pen there, it’s best to just remove the pen cover. BUT there is a holder inside the lid that is nice and tight but it doesn’t charge there. Good review and agree the angle is too upright
hey i was looking at buying a newer model ipad air, and was wondering if this case is compatible? because some people say it is, and other say it isn't. so i just wanna make sure
I'm at least less frustrated to know that I'm not the only one that didn't get manufacturers instructions given with the product. That's usually standard. All I got was the warranty papers🙄
Bro this is great but I am still trying to find a video that carefully shows how tf to install this case. Its frustrating. I saw you take the rubber part off but couldnt see what exactly you did.
you should be able to just unclip the side hooks and then reapply once the ipad is in the plastic case frame. after that you will put the silicone outer portion on once again. all done!
IS A THERE A LESS EXPENSIVE ALTERNATIVE CASE OF THE SAME STYLE AS THIS OTTER CASE, MAYBE WITHOUT THE PROTRACTIVE COVER?? ANYONE KNOW? I wish it didn’t even have the protective cover. Because I will never use it. For my regular iPad that I bought six years ago, I got a case for five dollars at Five Below that is just as good, or better than this Otter case. For $89 the Otter case is obscenely expensive. The $5 case on my regular iPad is still rocking it after six years! And so is the old iPad itself! After I replaced the battery and got a new screen to replace the cracked one. Although I’m still glad I have the updated iPad Air. Which I actually haven’t used after purchasing it nine months ago. Lol But I am starting to use it now that I have a case. Which I may return-the case-if I decide I don’t want it. Maybe someone will come up with that alternative? Five Below doesn’t carry them anymore, and I don’t even know the (off) brand name.

I wish the cover opened and closed like a book so the screen is protected in my bag and yes I agree with you regarding the angle

yeah i was a bit disappointed to see that you cant eve close the hinge while the pen is on, i bet that would make this an even more better case

There are tons of cheaper version cases out there. None give the level of protection as Otterbox. I got mine from Amazon for just under $50.
Exceptional if you have an iPad for a kid or if you’re hard on your technology. Otherwise, you may not need it.
The fact you can’t close the door when the pencil is on the side is a deal breaker for me
