- This sub is going into a different car. A small hatchback and will be connected to a brand new Kenwood DDX26BT head unit. Please subscribe as that video will be dropping very soon. I will also be showing you how to hookup, wire, and tune a subwoofer system at home as well as how to install a new head unit into any car.
This is a single 12 " Pioneer champion series pro TS-W3003D4, I have it wired in series to a final 2 ohm load at the single channel of my Kicker ZX750.1 mono block. Sub takes it well and does not distort, gain turned only about halfway, I tried my best to tune the sub by ear. To me sounds just right. The amp is slightly overpowering the sub therefore has to work less hard to keep pushing the sub, as the gain is turned down to match the sub power level. This is what a good combo looks like for subwoofer system. This is just perfect to me.
I had two 12" Pioneer Championship Series subs in an Obcon vented box. Played loud music often. Sold that car 5 years later them Pioneers never blew or bottomed out. Pioneer is under rated I feel for how good their subs are.
After the demo your kid will definitely go deaf 😂
That's how those champion series are suppose to sound
The amp is 750rms at 2 ohms, the sub is 4 ohm DVC and I had it wired to a 2ohm final load. I think amp was turned up about halfway on the gain and sounded really good
another good thing you can do is place box near end of the trunk maybe cat conner it dp may improve.... but hits hard now
No he has it at a good distance from trunk stop giving bad ideas you hater 💯😂🥊
Sounds good 👍🏼
If use TL box its sound get more perfect
Does the kid in the back like the bass
haha. That's my little son. It was his naptime, he actually fell asleep and slept through it all. Sometimes you just got to do what you got to do. LOL
How's sub going? I'm thinking of using that sub with my kicker kx800.1 amp. Are you overpowering?
Hi it hits super hard. My monoblock provides 750rms at 2 ohms. Which makes it 150 rms overpowered, therefore my amp is turned down and is working less hard to provide the power this sub needs also this is good for your amp... My gain is set to like 1/3 and it hits it super hard without distorting. It’s a very very good sub and is very loud. Good bang for your buck. As you can see in my video this thing shakes my roof, I'm amazed and it was like $80 for the single 12.
@@mafiya69 cant see a port on your box, is it sealed?
@@johnnyboy0g460 it’s ported, I have a 4” PVC pipe on the side
Sounds like the sub is not liking the power, like it's choking to me.
She can handle it! Sealed enclosure 👍
Hey bro! Van you help me how setup my sub?
Yea no problem. What are you having trouble with or what would you like to know?علی کارگران
Hey bro
I have a champion series 500w rms and my amp produces 625w rms at 2ohm
But its not hitting
How do you have the sub wired? If you’re sub is a dual voice coil it has to be wired properly
Try 3004d4, that thing hits hard.
Sorry for disturbing u bro one last question the russian song can u give me a link to download it please sie
Hi is this the recommened box size or would it hit better with a bigger box ?
This was a while ago but from what I remember I think the box size was 1.75 cubic ft…
@@mafiya69 yes but im asking if i use a bigger box than the one u were using will it play even better ?
???
@@waleedjohnson2786 The subwoofer comes with a manual that tells you exactly the recommended box size and whether it works best with sealed or ported box. I have an old school champion 12" 400wrms and says it needs a 1.25cu ft box sealed.
@@waleedjohnson2786 yes bigger box will play better but only give max 25% from recommended size
Is sub still alive and working fine? Any performance degradation observed?
I have already sold it however I had it for over a year and this thing has gotten through a lot of beating and held up really well! If buying new biggest thing is to break it in properly which I did for 20 hours! After over a year of regular use the sub was still nice and solid!!
Oh and make sure it’s tuned properly! That makes a huge difference! Make sure there is no distortion...
@@mafiya69 yeah I'll feed clean signal but it takes 600w rms? Also let me know if sensitivity makes it loudest in category? As it has highest sensitivity! Is it louder than DD 612?
Just for the record I saw that you had a young child in the car with you when you recorded this, not sure if you're aware but a child that young their ears are not fuly developed yet which leads to them being much more sensitive than yours and any adults ears would be so maybe next time leave the lil-tike at home and try not to crank your music so loud while they are with you! I literally killed my moms dog once many years ago just with my car audio system, granted i had 8-12in woofers in a jeep Cherokee but I was doing my mother a favor and taking her dog to the vet for a checkup and after receiving a clean bill of health I was playing some music while he was in the vets office and then on the way home I again played some music and not even that loud I didn't think but when I opened the back door to let the pup out fully expecting him to come jumping out the dog was just laying there! Come to find out (because i immediately went right back to the vets office) their small lungs and heart aren't able to withstand the kind of pressure that an upgraded car audio system has 😕🤦♂️
This sub needs a bigger box its stifling in side that box
The internal volume was actually pretty close to manufacturers spec. According to pioneer this needs 1.75 cubic feet. I had around 1.6
I do agree, probably would sound better. But sounded pretty amazing for a single 12 it was very impressive and hit the lows very well
What substance are you on in this video?
I think was just being camera shy.
This was one of my very first videos to record so it felt super awkward talking to myself. I’m a pretty quiet person in general. Lol
100% sober… 💪😂
What substance were you on when you wrote your nasty comment

@@mafiya69 the russian song i heard in your car can u send me a link to download it please ?
Why is there too much distortion in sound?? Sound like dhrrrrrr dhrrrrrrr why? Do u like it?
I'm not sure if i understood what you meant. The reason it does that is my camera built in microphone isn't able to process such loud bass sound. Because bass creates lots of vibration and the sound is too strong for the camera. If I had a nice microphone it probably would not do that.
The camera make distortion not the sub! The sub is actually very good its loud and has very deep lows♥️
How can yall tell it sounds good over the phone recording? Lol 😂 I
OK bad dad you’re gonna blow your kids ears . 😢
