- A Christian young man, Taylor Mitchell, attends college and has to battle with an atheistic Professor over the subject of God, creation, and evolution. Taylor must pass the class in order to maintain his scholarship and the Professor makes this very difficult for him. He gives the young man a special assignment that he must write in order to get a passing grade: abandon your faith or fail the class! This movie shows good character in how Taylor handles the situation.

A great example that if we always stand on the Rock and stay steadfast in our faith, we will be victorious... God will not be mocked, and we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Greater is he who lives us than he who lives in the world!

This was one of the better Christian movies, where they actually put some factual content in it. There is plenty of actual scientific facts out there to PROVE evolution is a joke. Fantastic movie, and thank you for sharing this!
Evolution makes sense in the context of God. A wise creator who refines and crafts the universe over time.
I've never had a problem with evolution, only people that believe in it as gospel truth when it too has holes in it.
At least with Christ we know he was here, we know he died outside Jerusalem, and as stated he had eye witnesses

YOU SAW them seeking comfort from the above mentioned topography, ONE OF THE MANY MARVELS YOUR PERFECT HANDS HAVE MADE. 👏👏👏 YOU SAW their worries about tomorrow.
If their hearts were a window that they could look through, oh the pains and scars they would see. What a cruel fate the skin gives as a mask to the inward pain. But the skin couldn’t cover THE SUFFERING YOUR ONE AND ONLY SON BORED on the cross as PAYMENT for all our sins because HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ALONE HAD THE MERIT TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR HOLINESS. Lastly, LORD when they call on YOU in earnest prayer to come into their hearts to be born again (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life), I pray that YOU WILL GIVE them the blessed assurance of their salvation because nothing breaks YOUR HEART, or tears YOU apart like when they cry from the trials of the devil who comes to slander, falsely accuse, steal, kill & destroy. Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. Wow....what a great movie! This was God's Not Dead long before the God's Not Dead movie. Really enjoyed this. I like these old Christian movies. They really strength my faith and resolve to serve my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I am so thankful for my time at varsity and for my lecturer that taught creationism and evolution. The varsity curriculum allowed us to debate the concepts and write our papers and exams with the freedom to come to our own conclusion and we were marked only on our reasoning and citing of the tenets of the two. That was freedom of speech in practice. And I was able to share my faith in debate and in my assignments and exams as a result. Thank you Wits University, South Africa! And thank You to the Lord Jesus for keeping me in the palm of His hand during that time!

Although I only pulled a C+, I loved his class, and he had a great sense of humor which often left us laughing so hard! He was a great teacher, a very godly man, had a powerful and beautiful tenor singing voice as a frequent church soloist at Highland Park Baptist Church which governed the school, and he loved sharing the gospel with others! Sadly, I learned only today through a Google search that, after a brief illness, he passed away in 2017 at age 69. I'm thankful for the impact he had on my life, and am looking forward to seeing him in Heaven someday!

Yes, an excellent movie. What I have found through life is that, there are some people who can only make their case stand by putting others down, ie, Faith, Jesus Christ, the person standing opposite them, and so on, and I think that's what this professor was doing. Thank God Mr Mitchell was knowledgeable enough to stand up to him. I only wish I could do the same, well done 👏 ✔️

It was fun to see Jan (blonde) and Donna (brunette) who were classmates of mine at Cedarville College on the wonderful 1980s. Good movie. I also thought this was a precursor to God's not Dead movie.

May the Lord help me to stand up for my faith. I used to share Christ with others but because I had backslidden and involved myself in ungodly relationships I no longer the person I used to be although I have repented and turned back to the Lord. Only the Lord can restore me but it's not easy.

Have you noticed that those who say evolution is the way the world began or speak against creation are mostly angry or argumentative in the way they act or speak? If their beliefs are true they should be happier, yet anger is all you get from them ! Just an observation of years
No scientist says evolution is the way the world began, because it's not. It's a theory about how lifeforms evolved from their earliest stages to now.
