Cant stop the tears.
I lost our house a few yrs ago. To make a long story short, with my mother's help I found a much smaller and affordable house and in a much better location too.
I later found out our house was about 5mins walk to a church, I was finally baptised there.
I am positive God has put me in my place and all that happened was to draw me closer to him. He never forsakes us. Even now he answers my desperate prayers.
Give thanks in everything. Just talk to him, he hears us. Praise Him.

We lost our dad about 8yrs ago and it has been a struggle. But the Lord never gave up on us.. Seeing this woman reminded me of my mum, a young widowed mother of 4 very young children. The tears she shed and all of us. We know God is with us and He has strengthened us and brought us closer to Him in this period..
It’s impossible to avoid suffering in life, we all experience pains sometimes, but we are not alone. The most precious thing is the presence of God. He comforted us and strengthen our relationship with Him. Also we will able to understand those who are hurting and need support. God bless you and your mother. Love you💖🌈
I lost my father when I was 10 years old. Unfortunately my mother wasn't this type of lady. It was like I lost my mom too. I have had more bad things happen in my life than good. When I got married and had my children I worked hard and made sure they didn't have to grow up the way I did. That's one good thing I am proud of is our children and now we have 6 beautiful grandchildren. Not many dreams came true for me. I didn't get a beautiful house with a swimming pool in the backyard or nice things like that, but I did the best I could. At least our children turned out to be good people. Praise the Lord for that. 🙏

YOU SAW them working long and laboring hard to receive the grace by justification even though YOU stated, "This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."(John 6:29 KJV) YOU SAW the unwillingness to accept YOUR PLAN OF SALVATION THROUGH YOUR SON JESUS CHRIST. YOU SAW them living with the guilt of committing crimes to the heart. YOU SAW them enduring personal crisis. YOU SAW the weight of the burden on their hearts with each tribulation. YOU SAW them seeking comfort from the above mentioned topography, ONE OF THE MANY MARVELS YOUR PERFECT HANDS HAVE MADE. 👏👏👏 YOU SAW their worries about tomorrow.
If their hearts were a window that they could look through, oh the pains and scars they would see. What a cruel fate the skin gives as a mask to the inward pain. But the skin couldn’t cover THE SUFFERING YOUR ONE AND ONLY SON BORED on the cross as PAYMENT for all our sins because HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ALONE HAD THE MERIT TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR HOLINESS. Indeed, ONLY HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IS SUFFICIENT TO SAVE us from this present evil world as evidenced by Mary's song of praise. They have seen a lot of crazy things done in YOUR NAME. For example, the father of lies futile attempts to make crooked the right ways of the LORD to turn people away from faith in the WORKS OF JESUS CHRIST ALONE. How can anyone bear the thought of his or her life story detracting from the GLORY AND HONOR KNOWN TO BELONG TO CHRIST ALONE? As a consequence, YOU ARE A MYSTERY OF GREAT MYSTERY to them. Despite this conviction, YOU ARE MINDFUL of them as evidenced by the fact that YOUR JUDGEMENT is not speedy, allowing them to pursue the desires of the flesh.
They are aware of hypocrisy in religious assemblies that like to be seen and heard. In addition, secular education teaches that there is no right and wrong, if GOD exists there is no way of relating to HIM, and moral standards shift according to the whims of fashion. Therefore, their minds are conditioned to question everything this world has to offer including “THY POWER THROUGHOUT THE UNIVERSE DISPLAYED.” They have accepted the heavy burden of dealing with the troubles of this life and seek to know another way, YOU THE GREAT COMFORTER TO ALL who did receive YOU as their personal SAVIOR. Still, YOU have shown them NEW MERCY every day with each thought they make and each breath they take.
Unfortunately, like the prodigal son, we are all guilty of wandering far from YOU LORD because the negative experiences of our lives tend to build roadblocks to the TRUTH. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them to identify the way, truth, and eternal life (that is YOU). Since to know and follow your SPIRIT is more exciting than any 007 movies, and YOU DELIGHT MAKING the ordinary into extraordinary. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST MAKE them understand that there is no way around YOUR TRUTH, and that there is something about YOUR NAME. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them defeat in their minds what is false in YOUR EYES.
LORD GUIDE their thoughts to know that the path of sin is hard on their hearts for the purpose of crying out to YOU to know the joy, peace of having the heavy burden LIFTED by THE GOD OF PEACE I AM, and ANCHOR their souls in THE HAVEN OF REST. In other words, LORD use the storms in their lives to get a hold of them to trust YOU and believe. In truth, YOU ARE THE JOY that seekest them through pain.
LORD HELP their fainting hearts to believe that YOU, who was slain on the cross over 2000 years ago has the POWER TO CHANGE lives today through the INSTANTANEOUS GREAT FAVOR from GOD to the house of Israel made known in believers by YOU to make YOUR NAME EVERLASTING. 🥰 For as the statue liberates the citizens so the cross liberates the soul. ONLY YOU can calm the trouble waters of the mind when one admits to wanting salvation from one’s sinful nature, JESUS IS LORD, and believes in the heart that GOD RAISED HIM from the dead TO LIFT the heavy burden of sin's guilt away from the heart in accordance to YOUR WORD found in Psalm 51:1-10 KJV. 👏👏👏👏👏👏 O, the wonder of it all to experience within the flesh the feeling of a tree being cut back/pruned in order for it to grow stronger and more beautiful after meditating on the words of said Psalm. 🥰🙌

Creation sings the rebirth song for them yearly, through YOUR PROMISE of springtime, giving rise to the idea that by the mention of YOUR NAME flowers grow, and the desert blooms again. 🥰
LORD GUIDE their understanding of words to use to come into YOUR PRESENCE with an honest reverence of WHO YOU ARE to experience the beauty that time can't erase YOUR WISDOM resting on their faces. LORD STRENGTHEN their determination to never waiver in efforts to search for YOU because the wages of sin is too high for anyone to pay. Additionally, THE KING OF KINGS is needed in their hearts to learn how to expand their capacity to love for YOU are LOVE in any language. 🥰 Once they learn to speak it with boldness through YOUR WONDERFUL COUNSELING all the world will hear, and know that LOVE is the language of their hearts. So LORD, KEEP KNOCKING on their door until they let YOU in to know hardships and struggles will end with a GREAT CELEBRATION WITH YOU. 🥰🙌
If one believes faith cannot be forced, YOU WILL GIVE that individual over to the stubborn heart to follow own counsel which will surely fail him or her to the extent that the punishment will last forever found in Psalms 81 NIV. Given this, I pray that YOU WILL MAKE that person see that this feeling is wasted for a world in which we become strangers as we age, gives us thrills instead of peace, aims to solve a problem but creates another, and unrest surges with each passing generation. Shed some light into their broken hearts for YOU ARE THE GREAT JEHOVAH, THE GOD THAT HEALETH thee.
Lastly, LORD when they call on YOU in earnest prayer to come into their hearts to be born again (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life), I pray that YOU WILL GIVE them the blessed assurance of their salvation because nothing breaks YOUR HEART, or tears YOU apart like when they cry from the trials of the devil who comes to slander, falsely accuse, steal, kill & destroy. Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. For ONLY YOU UNDERSTANDS our tears since YOU LOOK at the heart, while humans look at the flesh.
O LOVE that will not let them go. When they don't have the strength to try, and have cried all they can cry hear their hearts that need YOU more today than yesterday. Many thanks LORD for speaking TRUTH in our lives TO BLESS those who are not offended by THEE. LET YOUR WILL BE DONE because YOUR LOVE ALONE CONQUERS everything by WAITING for them to cease struggling, and finally surrender to YOUR EMBRACE to learn about YOUR LOVE AND PROMISE TO TAKE CARE of your children exquisitely. 🥰 Since... This movie was a loving reminder to my heart, I have been going through a huge trial since May-5 months. I had back surgery on a disk and struggling through this trial. It looks like I have to face a fusion on my back, the pain, the lack of being able to do anything has been really hard on me. I know God works all things for good, but I am struggling. I can't help my husband in paying for the bills because I am on leave of absence from work and I can't do anything here. I so relate with Claire, I am not giving up on the Lord, I am just tired of this trial. So, here I am waiting on the Lord as to see how He will be glorified through me.
I have also learned to ask God when going through trials if there is something He is trying to teach me and wants me to learn by His grace.
My husband had a stoke almost 5 years ago. It left him paralyzed on his left side. He is now in a nursing home. I miss him so much. But having said all that, I am remind that 2nd Corinthians 1:3-4 tells us we go through these things so we can help others and have compassion. Praying you heal quickly, that God would meet your financial needs and Jesus would lovely care for your family. In the darkness times it helps me to pray for others. God bless you. Never forget He loves you. Never entertain any thought that does not line of with the word of God. If the enemy tells you your bills aren’t going to be paid you tell Him, God will meet my every need.

I had so many disc problems that I was "thisclose" to asking SS to send me someone to help me dress, cook and clean. My disc degeneration AND disintegrating discs were causing numerous problems. I was 50, living in constant pain, using a heating pad every night for five years just so I could function the next day, because no matter how I laid down, I couldn't get comfortable due to the pain.
I couldn't cook anymore because I couldn't stand. I couldn't work (law office) anymore because it required me to sit for long periods, put files away, carrying them to the filing cabinet, reaching up or down for the currently needed files, twisting there and back, etc...just complete misery.
I also couldn't have a shower without someone being nearby, which was my husband. I couldn't go food shopping or anywhere else that required me to stand, bend or reach.
I did not want any fusion because I know three people that it ruined them for life and I didn't want to take that chance.
I had a brand new 2007 car that I had to trade in because the seats were too low (Camry) and had to get an SUV. That really didn't matter, because I couldn't drive either.
I also underwent several epidurals, nerve ablations, and plenty of pain killers--including at the time, OxyContin--which I flushed down the toilet when I read how dangerous and addicting it could be (this was way before you could take your prescription drugs to the nearest pharmacy of police department for disposal).
I couldn't stand, sit, bend, reach, or lay down. I had to stop working. No matter what I did, nothing helped. I went to the #1 surgery hospital in the country at that time: "The Hospital For Special Surgery" in Manhattan.
NOTHING worked. I suffered day and night. My disc problems were L-1, L-2, L-3, L-4, L-5 and S-1, spinal stenosis, my sciatica nerves on both sides had cysts pressing against them, so that added to my pain, and a few other things that I don't remember. One orthopedic surgeon told me that there is nothing he can do for me "you are beyond my expertise." I went to six different orthopedic surgeons in my area--nothing they could do.
I also did stretching exercises (VERY hard to do when you can hardly walk) in a PT office. I had to quit about two weeks in: I couldn't stand the pain.
We looked into getting me one of those scooters, too.
Did I pray? Yes, of course I prayed. I prayed almost every moment of every day for years. Did I go to church? No because I couldn't stand for singing or sit for the preaching. There wasn't anything like Zoom or any other virtual meeting platforms then either.
SO: How did God heal me? My husband laid hands on my back early one Sunday morning. I felt the cool "electricity" going through my back, from top to bottom--and I knew I was healed. I am NOT saying that my husband is some sort of "healer," because he's not. We just believed God to perform a miracle for me and He did the rest.
I wasn't careless to do anything drastic to try and "try God;" no, to me that would be an insult to Him--I just slowly--very slowly started walking around inside the house, doing light cooking, (no driving yet), getting dressed very slowly and gradually over time my back was healed. I went for an MRI (had several of them already) and it showed that two of my discs are missing--disintegrated--and the rest are still healing.
Today I am pain free, and I will tell you that if I do something too quick, or if I twist the wrong way, I don't injure the discs, but I end up with sprains.
The bottom line is this: Believe that He can heal you (He made you, didn't He?), and have some laying on of hands with prayer and trust Him to do the work.
That was almost 15 years ago--and I am still healed.
Do not waste this trial. Although you my not be able to do much physically, what you can do is pray for others, pray for your husband, encourage your husband and others, and use this time to draw even closer to God.
This is a very beautiful movie, and it’s based on a true story. May God help the people that come to watch and are grieving or going through I hard trial. May God help you and give you the strength!

WOW! What a great movie! So called Christian movies today are so far off course and mostly just trash...families yelling at each other, immodest dress, etc. etc.,....And what an amazing friend Barbara was! For a long while she just listened! And when she did respond, it was so moving I broke down and cried. This is a keeper - to watch again.

B-Believe that Jesus is who He says He Is and that He did what He said He did!! if you confess(speak it) with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and shalt believe in your heart

Many act as if "nothing" happened, and that person is left to handle the grief pretty much by herself. That indeed is a tragedy! As the body of Christ, may we never forget that someone may be waiting just to talk about their loss or to have someone pray with them.

Anyone who believes there is a prescribed amount of time for grieving and then you can "get over it" has never experienced the death of someone they loved dearly. That would be like "getting over" the loss of a limb. Truth is, you learn to adjust and go on -- for as long as you live. There will be moments of sadness and moments of joy. To the best of your ability, forgive those who treat you with scorn, shame, or false guilt, and embrace anyone who is willing to walk the Path of Sorrow with you. God loves you and has not forgotten you. Allow yourself to cry. Scripture says He "collects your tears in a bottle." Believe that, slowly, your tears of mourning will turn to joy. Cherish the memories and the love.

Yeah. It's not easy. I'll admit it. Trials come in many ways, and yet we ought to count it all joy. Sometimes we'll understand them but other times we won't. God's always there though.
When that which we think we cannot live without is taken from us and we turn to God in our sorrow, grief he fills the loss with his love which can never be taken from US as long as we trust him, place him first in our soul! This movie was a beautiful demonstration of that love! Amen!

I have a neighbor that lost her husband almost a year ago and I try to check in on her periodically to see if she needs anything . I feel like I could do more and when I’ve needed help I’ve gotten it . I do what I can in other areas but I’m thinking there is something else I should be doing . Show me the way Lord , and I’ll do it . Whatever you direct me to do , consider it done . Thank you Father , for everything , literally !

Our family knows EXACTLY how this feels, I lost my brother in 1981 in a car accident, he fell asleep and went onto the wrong side of the road, he hit an oncoming truck/ he passed away, not very long after. Even to this day, and all these years later; it’s still painful/ he was only 17. We miss you Glen. Xxx. I know he is with our Lord.

God Awful Movies brought me here. I watched this before I listened to the pod.... What the hell are they going to talk about? Nothing happens in this movie!!!! It's 4 and a half hours of absolute nothingness.... I lived 3 lifetimes in the amount of time it took me to watch this. Ok ok.... A guy dies....
