I really hope you decide to check out the majority of their songs, it’s hard to find ones you wouldn’t like, I’m only going to list a few to check out. Studio version of You Shook Me, great 3 solos keyboards harmonica & guitar, bluesy with amazing vocals & drums also. Studio Tea For One, an amazing slow blues. Live at Earls Court the May 25,1975 version of In My Time Of Dying, an amazing version of an old gospel song, they absolutely kill it on this particular date. In My Time Of Dying & Since I’ve Been Loving You, are my two favorite live performances, not that others are bad by any means. You can see & feel their soulful passion in both of those lives, Plant uses his vocals perfect for all their songs, an amazing singer. I hope to see much more Led Zeppelin from you, you’ll enjoy the journey, as will we.
It’s hard to tell if it’s just audio, or are you watching visual too? It’s actually a pretty structured solo, there’s several videos from different concerts, & it’s pretty much the same. He preformed this over 200 times, at some point in their 3 to 4 hour nonstop concerts, he was all self taught too. The original name was Pat’s Delight for his wife, his son Jason called it daddy’s Moby Dick song, for his dads big song. Many of us consider Bonham the greatest drummer ever, & he still ranks in the top two or three. Thank you for your reaction. So many more great Led Zeppelin songs to checkout. Bonham didn’t have an ego, he played how & what he felt, to give the band what it needed. Bonham playing his drums with his hands is amazing too, you’d swear he’s using his sticks.
You have to check out their live at Knebworth (1979) Achilles Last Stand, that’s one of many killer songs with Bonham’s drumming. He great in so many songs, & the perfect drum genius for this band of geniuses. Bonham was kicked out of a couple small bands, for playing to loud. He for a short time had two floor drums, the band did make him get rid of the one, he certainly didn’t need two.
Moby Dick live at Royal Albert Hall. Every drummer should watch that performance.
he does all that with a single kick pedal
that whole gig is off the charts!

In the Top 5 for sure
THE GREATEST!!
Some people work so hard they only rest laying in their coffins, RIP John Henry Bonham.
Sounds like a live version, why can't we see any of it? 😒
ONE SINGLE KICK DRUM AND HE DOES TRIPLETS!!
This is why Bonham was the greatest drummer of all time!! STILL...nobody is like him!! You would love every song they did!!
These guys used to play over 2.5 hours straight - heck Stevie Ray Vaughn did a few 5 hour shows! Talk about stamina
John Bonham was placed on earth to let every other drummer know that they aren’t as good as they think they are
