You know, it kinda struck me that we got cs2, new models and everything, and still you can't see whether a character is wearing kevlar and a helmet in game. What a missed opportunity.

Hey @TheWarOwl , what headset are you using nowdays and all of the set up? You used to use the sennheiser hd596 but I don't recognize the one from the stream? Anyone knows?
I played 1.6, source, cs go on and CS2 all on release except 1.6.
CS2 > 1.6 > CS GO > Source my opinion.
To me the main problem is the gpu power needed for CS2 compared to 1.6 is in no relation to how good each game is compared to each other.
Even for it's time CS 1.6 had super low requirements, you could basically have 100 fps or more on every office computer. It was super easily accesable on a highly enjoyable level for everyone, no matter the hardware.
You can play 1.6 on a 10 or maybe even 20 year old computer and have a lot of fun. Every CS was like that when it realeased, even CS GO had very low requirements for it's time. CS2 is the first CS, that has quite very high requirements for the standard of it's time of release.
CS has never been the super hype next level standard for high end graphics and players never cared or wanted it that way, so valve pushing this high graphics standards into a competetive fps is what really sucks for some people. Me included.

@@ETHANR26 yeah same, 120 fps or more on cs go and 30 fps on Ancient and Inferno on CS2. I need to change my whole playstile to get sneeky kills, i can almost not swing any corners because of frame drops. On mirage i still have 100-120 fps.
and another problem:
buying used gpus is always a risk and a used 2080 ti which is 6 years old, is sold for $300 on ebay. It's insane! Back in 1.6 times you could buy almost the best gpu on the marked for that price. Now good gpus cost above $1k up to $3k or $4k. And are generally extremely overpriced. Even the entry level gpus are extremely overpriced.
So do I buy a USED 6 year old GPU for $300? which with inflation would probably the new price xD jk but... almost? idk.
To me this isn't an option and buying overpriced gpus isn't either. I can not understand why used gpus are THAT expensive. It's literally insane.

Buzzing in sound may be solved by switching from Analog to Digital audio as only analog is affected by interference like this.

I don't hate the new maps, I'm so glad we finally have community maps and the creators get rewarded, but I could have just opened the workshop. Year since CS2 release and we barely have any meaningful updates, premiere ranking is awful only taking wins and losses into account instead of your performance too. Game is full of cheaters and the networking is horrible so many people, myself included rubberbanding all over the place, teleporting back when tagged. So much content from CSGO missing like danger zone, retakes etc.
I love cs but the rubber banding is crazzzzzzyyyyy
Rubber banding was present in csgo as well

I find it so interesting how different we are:
I am rather on the negative side of CS2‘s impression so far; I liked the plane map more than the first map, actually. And on “Santorini 2.0” I like A site a lot more; it’s the only interesting thing about this map left now with all the changes, imho. 😅

CS2 should have ditched the old maps and brought in new maps. It's boring to play the same 5 maps for over a decade.
....no? The only reason you feel you are forced to play old maps is cuz you wanna play them on Valve servers. If you find like-minded people to play, just boot up custom servers and play custom maps, go invite ppl from forums lol.

@@mihirx27 I disagree, it's lazy from both valve and the players to play the same maps forever, but also gets boring.
@@badass6300 I agree with the players sentiment. When there are new maps added, ppl rarely give them a chance, and thus they are prone to being removed anyway. Thank God that didn't happen to Anubis, a great map. I do not agree with the Valve part tho, they do add new maps, ppl just don't like em.
Chances are the game will literally feel horrible if you removed the blank slate maps (D2, Mirage, Inferno) and just outright replaced them with new ones, considering it took YEARS for a map like Overpass to get good and Vertigo is still kinda bad after years of reworks.
