Yeah, I just kept thinking that as awful as it was, he's still one of the lucky ones if he isn't a "long hauler." I used to wear a mask and stay home when possible mostly because I cared about other people. Now I'm just as concerned for myself. I don't sit around being scared or anxious, but I might if I were forced to work in public. It's so much more severe than we initially realized.
He's capable, yeah, but as he stated he's not in that kind'a place in his life at the moment. As good of a dad I think he'd make, and as fun Dadforce would be, becoming a parent ain't a "fuck it, I have the free time for it"-type decision. 😂

Just want to say, I'm glad you had closure, Lewis. My dad passed away back in April, and there was no funeral, there was no closure; a funeral is such an event to bring everyone together so it's very nice to hear everyone got together. I remember hearing about Lewis' grandparents in the old YogPod, and they've lived such a long life that I can't believe she was still alive in 2020, at the risk of sounding coarse. Happy 2021, you bastards.

My uncle died of the rona too. On the day of this triforce release as it happens. He suffered 2 weeks before dying in the ICU. We're all very sad, he was only in his 60s.
Feels like the last few months especially have had so much go wrong. So happy for Sips and so glad they are all doing well. Cant wait for more podcasts this year, they really help me to relax after the shitstorm this last year and year 3 of uni has been so far. Lets hope things get better in 2021

46:40 I think it's when you do something so consistently that your body makes it instinct just like dodging a projectile or pulling your hand away from something hot, our body does it not your brain (spinal cord I believe), and so you can often doubt yourself or overthink and your body will be like "we've seen this before I know what to do" and will save you from overthinking but it only really helps when you are on a short time limit like a split second decision not like a thesis you work on for a year because then you want to overthink it and second guess everything so that every decision an be tried and tested and still stand up to argument as opposed to thinking about jumping out of the way of a car but if you jump left you will hit a wall and if you jump right... oh you're dead.

I'm a massage therapist here in Arkansas, and I specialize in prenatal massage. I wasn't getting too many cases until afew months after the quarantine lifted. Dozens started coming in, some with kids in and out of college! lol Didn't know why at first, but after a couple weeks I realized "OH! They were stuck inside for a month!"
Pyrions description of Covid blows my mind. I tested positive for it, I felt a little feverish and slightly sore. I popped a Tylenol and all of that was gone I had symptoms for like a day. it was like a free 2 week paid vacation lol
Sips: The only man outside of my family who can talk about his kids and having a new baby and I am actually fully interested and happy for. No one else I know of can talk about their children and I actually am clamoring to hear more.
My dad died on December 5th, so I really can relate to this vid. :D We had six years since his cancer diagnosis to settle things, STILL when he went it was a shock. :P

As someone who can solve the Rubix cube I can confirm solving the cube is just a series of moves you do repeatedly until its solved. With that being said its not the easiest thing to do. You have to remember 7+ series of moves when to do them, how to execute those moves correctly (for example what orientation the cube has to be in) and incase your fail to solve it (as you may do when you start learning) you also need to know how to take one apart and put it back together. P.S. For anyone who is thinking of learning I actually don't recommend it, the puzzle becomes very boring once you know how, being a logic puzzle its very hard to forget once you know.
