As usual, perfect video with explanations, dilutions, products used, all what we need to learn to do it by ourselves. Great job for a great car (the Mazda red color is awesome). Well done Heather. Good night from France
I really likes Heathers videos. She has a somewhat gentle approach, and getting in all over. Hurra for taking care of the stearingwheel. I do it on my cars every one or two month. My Lexus is 11 years old, but after 15 minutes of work with leathercleaner and balm it looks almost new.
Hi I was asked which detailing chanel I watch on RUclips I watch a lot of them but I must say you r the one I watch the most I love the way you describe everything u do and use and the results speak for they self thanks again keep it lk u do it brilliant keep up the good work from Richard in Cardiff
The depth of shine on your paintwork is astonishing. The colour reminds me of Maclaren’s lava red the had on the mp4/12c. Nice work Heather, looking forward to the next one.
Excellent video ( again), I follow yourself and Ammo NYC as you both are engaging and have a great balance of technical detail and showing the process of a car wash without boring me to sleep.
That was such a satisfying video to watch - the fact that there was a month of dirt on it made it even more satisfying. I know you are not selling but what a great used car buy your car would be!
Great video again and some amazing products used. Glaco window cleaner is possibly my favourite. The hydrophobic behaviour of my windows post application is fantastic 😁
Hi Heather 👋. A superb result on your own car paintwork & interior, given this rainy, dull weather were experiencing here in the UK. That red metallic now looks ace again ! 👏
I used GT Decon on my car over the weekend and it certainly reinvigorated the ceramic coating back to the gloss and beading which is always a bonus and I aim to use Carpro descale just to get rid of any remaining road salt.
Another outstanding video. Top job !! Thank you for sharing your work, it's not everyday we get to do our own vehicles. I think I did mine 3 moths or more ago, no time. Looking forward to more of your work. Stay safe. Kevin
I always like to watch pro detailers wash their own cars :) Heather I enjoy your accent too, even if I sometimes need to focus on it a little bit (not a native English speaker)! Most of the products you use are unfamiliar to me (not so easy to get in Poland where I live) but the effects are amazing I must say.. And cheers for using ultra glaco and absolute, use them the same way, really good results! Good job, and a great car - this paint is not so easy to maintainbut yours looks stellar! Cheers
I guess it must be hard to make videos with similar content interesting however you seem to make it look easy. Most detailing channels get a bit boring but your are always engaging. Carry on the good work and thank you again for the interesting content. 👍👍😉
Nice job Heather! I was able to hand wash my vehicle for the first time in 2 months, feels so much better. Your landscaping also looks quite tidy considering it's winter.
@@AutoCareHQ The way prices are at the moment it's crazy just to rent a place. When i win the lottery i will be buying a place (Lake District) it will set me back £6 million pound's So that's nearly $10 million Aussie dollar. 😁
Really good content. Yum is a brand I've not tried but are definitely on the list, never seen any moans from anyone about their products. The car looks fantastic 👌. All the best. 👍
Heather I’ve been using the garage therapy one shampoo 1/9 In the foamer with a rinse bucket after one of your videos and it’s much quicker then two bucket method 👍🏼
Really enjoy your clips, relaxing to watch & interesting as well, always learning something. Have you ever had something go wrong on a client’s vehicle?
Another great watch using a good mixture of products and as usual a tip to take away if I ever get round to putting an order in for some Yum products but every time I look I seem to get carried away and end up getting nothing. I like the idea of darkening the plastic wheel arches with the Yum dress. I far prefer them to the carpeted arches all round the Jag for keeping clean. The colour of your Mazda really pops when you give it a good going over and can't believe you could leave it for a month without a clean. If that was me I would be going out in the rain just to get some of the dirt off. As usual I look forward to the next one and I guess you weren't watching or going to copy the latest tutorial from Yum cars about the curved design on his freshly cleaned car mats.
Thanks for watching John :) Yep I much prefer plastic wheel arches too, makes cleaning them a lot easier. I was honestly itching to clean it but thought I'd leave it for a video, I felt a lot better once it was clean again haha
Nice job Heather. Finally cleaned my 535. Did a good job. Now it’s mucky again. Goes in for a service at Lloyds BMW Blackpool on Friday. Want to take it in spotless…
Thanks! Mine is the same unfortunately! It's always good to get looking fresh before a service, makes me think they'll be more careful when handling it but I have no idea if they actually are haha
Hate when they do that, mine got recalled and I put signs all over the car saying “do not wash”, they still managed to kick dirt all over the inside of the door though 🙄
Another great video! I appreciate your intelligent and thoughout process, to wit in a previous video you sprayed down the dusty surface the vehicle was on to limit upkick on the surface.
I always look forward to these videos Heather. The MX5 looks great after the wash! I have not cleaned mine for around 6 weeks now and it is dire. Hoping for some better weather to give it a thorough wash and clean in and out. Out of interest - how long roughly does it take you to do a clean like this one? Cheers G
Such a pity you dont come as far south as London! As I said in my email to you, suffering as I am from a broken leg, and with my car parked in a single garage even after six weeks its proving impossible even to manoeuvre myself into the drivers seat!

As a new subscriber, I'm liking the great attention to detail in the videos. Could you possibly list the products you used in this video please, as sometimes it's difficult to make it out. Thank you.
Enjoyed that Heather, we swapped comments in a previous video of your MX5 and I mentioned my nervousness of machine polishing (still on the to do list). I have the 30th Anniversary Edition and it's not had a wash for a few months tho to be fair it's been sat on the drive for most of that due to caring commitments. I'm considering changing the Bridgestones over to Michelin's (the Bridgestones have plenty of life in them but they are original fit and getting old), can you confirm if they are Pilot Sport 5s? Thinking the combination of those tyres, lowering springs and the 'Flying Miata' alignment settings could be an interesting result. Right enough of that, I already spend to much on detailing products :)
Thanks very much for watching :) Yep these are Pilot Sport 5's. That sounds like a really good plan, love the 30th Anniversary version, very nice choice
You clearly are wealthy and have the time, space and money to do this properly. I am at the bottom of the pile, but I have picked up alot of great tips from your channel with great results. I have to wash my car on a double yellow lined main road with a hose connected under the kitchen sink through the kitchen window to my pressure washer. My neighbours think I am nuts, but the results are worth it, even though our 2 cars are 12+years old.
@Simon-fr4ts Please explain to me. Time, Money, Space have to do with wanting a clean vehicle. I know for a fact that this lass works very hard to have what she has. I may not know her personally but I have friends that know her, I find this comment extremely rude an uncalled for. Not that you would care. You are just wrong in your assumption of a person that works very hard. Thank you, Sorry for having to put this up here like this but someone had to come forward.
Are you able to drive this beautiful 2 seater in snowy roads? Stay safe and always your detailing is so impeccable. You keep showing Specky and Paul Dolden how to get it done👀👌
I don't really risk it to be honest! I work from home so I can avoid driving if it's pretty bad weather. Haha I'm a big fan of both their channels, been watching them since the start. I know they don't get as much time to put out content as often though but I like listening to the podcasts when I'm out cleaning my car!
Great videos Heather! And thank you - question what products are good for tar removal. Will Koch chemie green star remove? White BMW (bad choice of colour, beggars can’t be choosers in the 2nd hand market).
Great watch. In the foam canon what gauge nozzle are you using? I have just gone to 1mm which causes the intermittent pressure build ups in the karcher. Will switch back to 1.2m but this produces a really wet snow foam that just slides off the car with little effect. Citrus 1:5 dilution is interesting as I’ve been using forest at 1:8 and no effect. The traffic film is untouched in the lower sections of the car. Like the traffic film is too dried. I’ve tried pre rinse wet application and dry application no noticeable change.
@@AutoCareHQ thanks very helpful. Yes Stjarnagloss citrus pre-wash. Maybe the ceramic detailer causes the prewash to slide off? Bilt and Hamber pre-wash but same with others and tried different cannons. Thanks for getting back to me. Always learning, so a big Thankyou.
Thanks! Yeah these ones are a bit of a pain to clean tbf, I'm glad it's at the start of the process otherwise I reckon I'd have less patience for it haha
Thank you Heather for your time do you think Koch Kemie green star is better than Bilt Hamber surfex HD ? .And do you think Garage Therapy one wheel shampoo is the best cost option for cleaning wheels and tyres ? Thanks again
Thanks for watching :) Honestly both are very similar in terms of cleaning power, Green Star is a bit more foamy but that's the only real difference I noticed. And yep if you keep on top of the cleaning then GT wheel shampoo is a cracking option
I hate the state of the roads this time of year, did a nice maintenance wash on mine on Sunday then on Monday morning it was raining 😫 I drove slowly to work 🤭
WOW Heather amazing results how do you find the Pyramid car care foam cannon ? .Im a weekend warrior and cannot warrant loads of products . Thanks! I really like the Hydro Cannon, I usually go for it most of the time. My current favourite citrus prewashes are: Squid Ink ODK Yum My favourite snow foams are: Garage Therapy Squid Ink Alkafroth
Hey everyone, I'm getting into detailing as a hobby. What pressure washer hose does everyone use for kink free? I have a standard karcher k4 and just purchase a foam lance and a short trigger gun from Heathers videos recommendations! nice work cant stop not watching
Thanks for watching! I used this one for my old K4 www.in2detailing.co.uk/products/karcher-k-series-c-clip-to-c-clip-reinforced-heavy-duty-rubber-replacement-hose?variant=32368465313871&ghref=3377%3A53788 It will still twist a bit but won’t kink like the Karcher one
I personally just do a chemical decon using tar remover, fallout remover and an acidic shampoo to deal with mineral deposit build-up. I know the clay mitts are supposed to be safe on coated cars but I'd rather not risk it especially with the contamination build-up being so minimal and the chemicals do a good job
I’ve had it for a while to honest! It’s the Pyramid Car Care one, I use it on most washes now. It’s really good, the foam isn’t as concentrated as with the MJJC and I prefer the consistency. If you order it then make sure you use the code “ACHQ” which last time I checked was 20% off 😊
@@AutoCareHQ okay great, thanks Heather :) just one tip regarding foaming the car for the contact wash (i do the same for mine like you say the foam runs off too quick) so i just foam half the car, contact wash that half, then foam the other side and do that, seems to work better :)
Thank you for replying have you tried Garage Therapy citrus yet ? . And Mile deep release pre wash ?. Do you think autobrite magifoam is a good snow foam for winter grime ?
Yep I've tried both those, really good products. And yep AB Magifoam is good stuff, not quite as strong as Squid Ink Alkafroth but still a good cleaner
Hey Heather, the APC isn’t foaming like the wheel cleaner. Are you using two different Ik sprayers? If so, i’m just curious why you don’t want the APC to foam as well. Thanks! 👊🏽
Yep I use two different ones, one is an IK Foam and the other is an IK Multi. I just prefer the regular Multi sprayer for APC, citrus etc as it’s quicker to cover a large area evenly
There's nothing like being your own client and showing others that you keep your car as clean as theirs! An excellent job yet again Heather 👏🙂

@@AutoCareHQ i like that… that makes sense. Cool, thanks 👍🏽
That color 🤤
Hi .
I’m a bit confused about not using citrus cleaner on plastics .
But what about when we pre wash ?
Bumpers grills mirrors ect . Thanks
Sorry i’m a little confused what you are referring to, would you be able to let me know the time stamp?
Very nice vid ❤ thanks 🎉
Excellent video! What is that orange brush you're using at 12:36 ?
Thank you! It's this one: www.infinitywax.com/products/pet-hair-remover-block
Loads of brands make them though :)
Verry nice job ❤
Thank you!
Hey, what wheel rims are you using ? And where did you get them ? Thanks :)
I so dislike cleaning the wheels and arches, some detailers seem to enjoy that process...
You're not the only one
Same… hate it…
Strangely enough, it's my favourite part of the entire process
Try cleaning 6 😂😂😂
@@MatthewMcMaster Definitely not 😂
Hi just out of curiosity what are the gloves your using
@autocarehq what would you recommend for treating the rubber seals around doors, trunks etc.?
Garage Therapy Tyre Serum is a great option
What wheel mats have you used to help you to clean and protect the tyres?
Here's the link www.rimmats.com/
Nice job as always, do you travel?
Thanks! I don’t at the moment but possibly in the future
A beauty.
This makes me want to detail my truck here soon 🥲 It's so dirty after all the snow melted on the road
