Here is another DIY video, as requested by so many of you. I made this very cool moon lamp, it's so easy and simple that I made two of them. And excellent idea for diwali decor, so I thought to share how to make these DIY moon lamp using tissue papers. I hope you like this idea. I can't wait to see your versions of it, do share pictures with me on instagram.

I made it came out very nice❤😍 thing to remember is don't use pin directly on balloon open the knot of ballon n slowly slowly remove the gas try to separate with your finger

You can use battery operated candles or fairy lights

5:38 My sister got the moon lamp as a gift. Then she left it here after her marriage. But I lost the stand. She used cardboards. And here I was measuring and cutting pencils then painting it. My fingers got all feviquick.

Yes you can. Just make sure the fairy light don’t heat up, otherwise the lamp paper might burn because of it. And try to use 2-3 coats of tissues paper, so the lamp will be sturdy. :)

Use kitchen towel or toilet paper cause ant then this will not let light pass through it and it will be made opaque

Bcs if we will use glue the tissue will stick to balloon then if we pop the balloon due to glue the tissue with be also stiked to balloon
And if we use water then after poping the balloon the tissue will

hello is it possible to make lamp with newspaper
It will have print texture on it. It won't be as bright as this one, plus you might have to paint it white which will make the lamp more opaque. I would still suggest you to use tissue papers to achieve this kind of result.

I tried to make it twice.. But both times after keeping it for hours for drying it shrinked completely after I pricked the balloon. Can u sae what am I doing wrong?
Use 3-4 coats of tissue paper(maybe your paper is too thin). And let it fully dry, even if takes overnight.
How many watts is that bulb?
It's 5W LED light
Mine crumbled with the balloon pls help me with it !! 🥺 I am in dire need of it
Put at least 3-4 layers together, then let dry overnight. Next day burst the balloon slowly with little air coming out at a time.

You should apply 2-3 coats of tissue paper. Your paper is thin, that's why it's crumbling.
