Tip : if you want it to be more soft, let them soak about 3-5 days. And you can grind them using a hammer (it's pretty easy actually). My mom won't give me the blender either. But they came out well more thinner than a tissue paper. And you can make a frame using a cross stitch cloth or a small mesh like cloth and ice cream sticks.
@@prishaparekh7450 oh yeah... You mean the soaking part right yeah that happens but you can strain them and add some new water to that or change the water every night. But soaking for about 3 days will help you with that grinding part.
Beet juice is a natural coloring. Red onion skins boiled makes nice purple. Brown onion skins boiled make a pale yellow and spinach juice nice green. Markets throw away onion skins from the bin. They used to save them for me. A little extra time but good results!🙂
All good tips. Thanks! In another video the person used ice cream sprinkles, coffee grounds, smashed Christmas tree ornament balls for sparkles, and all sorts of weird food items like m&ms and tacos! 😝 I wouldn’t go that far, but I think the point was to think outside the box. I would definitely try coffee grounds or tea, or even sprinkles. Oh yeah, also cut thread into bits, and things from nature, like dried grass and flowers.
This is perfect for the people who want to try this hobby out but don’t want to purchase all of the materials before even trying it out yk? Thank u so much for the tutorial!!!!
I just crushed the paper with my bare hands instead of the water bottle. It was way easier and it turned out great 😊 ( maybe smoother than you get from shaking the water bottle) Thank you so much 😊 this tutorial was really helpful 💜💜
I think the texture of the paper that isn't blended too incredibly smooth is part of the charm. It's beautiful. I like the texture. I think these would be beautiful to use as matting for photos, pictures or paintings. Could you put a protective coating on these and use them as placemats?
Okay i made paper using your last video, and wrote Happy anniversary quote on it by adding some Lavender oil to it. It made it smell so good and attached a nice string to it. It actually help me plan something unique and creative. Thanks for it ❤️
thank you so much for this!!! im at college right now and i dont have access to most of the materials needed for paper making, but i was able to follow this tutorial!! i plan on using the paper i made to write letters to my mom once it dries
Here's how I made my paper⬇️ I tore apart old news papers, dumped them into a bowl of water then whisked until it became dough like, poured the mixture onto a cloth, smoothed out, pressed cloth on top then lay outside for 48 hours to dry. Then you can cut it or paint it as you wish:)
It was a nice reminder that simple is sometimes best. I would never thought to use a water bottle instead of a blender or a metal lid as a way to form the paper. Thank you
I am in 6th standard and I was studying Reduce reuse and recycle in science and our teacher gave to make a handmade paper and my mom didn't gave me permission to use a blender thankyou so much I will definitely make this paper and show it to my teacher thanks for the video 😊😊😊
You could also use mortar and pestal after you shake it so it will be less clumpy. Or even a bowl and a potato masher. I love this method for my niece. Anyone who doesn’t have permission to use the blender :-). Thank you!
Now I am obviously going to make it🥳My mom would not give me blender. The other videos use the ingredients which I don’t have😥but in this video I have every thing you used!🤩🥰Thank you so much!❤️❤️
This is the fastest, most easiest and affordable method of pulp making I've seen! I used an old blender and had to throw it away, hopefully this works :) Might get an actual workout from shaking the bottles lol
Thank you for this video. My mom says that the blender will get spoiled and she doesn't let me use the sieve because she uses it (even though I never saw her using it). Anyways tysm for the video
I’m just thinking you could save a fortune in watercolour paper costs using this technique - because it will create a great texture for the paint to grab hold of, - thank you for posting this method 💐
Thank you for making this video! I've recommended your other paper making video to so many people because I think that you make it seem so accessible to people who haven't made paper before.
Thank you so much for making this video. I got a school project in which I needed to make home made paper and I was so confused how to make it. But then I saw your video it helped me a lot. Thank you so much ❤
My mom didn't even allow me to use the blender so I preferred to shake the mix, before I found ur vdo... Then saw that ya I'm doing right... And I even tried with Normal tap water...It's on its way to blend well 😀 Thanku for ur vdo☺️✨
Tip1: Adding cotton fibers will make for a stronger paper. Tip2: Using fevicol might help make it stronger as well. Tip3 : If you can't use blender you can try dissolving egg cartons or cardboard into water. It won't be paper but you can try making cardboard instead.
Thanks for this idea my mother was not allowing me to use blender but this idea is really nice and I'm gonna definitely try this! And loved your english😉❤
Lovely, thank you! I have everything needed to make paper this way and will not need to buy anything. I like the imperfections resulting from this method better than finely crafted paper. Wishing you good luck and satisfaction from your future experiments.
Lovely thing to try, especially as a summer camp project. But please don't waste fresh water doing this, be judicious about water... I tried this method with water discarded from the purifier and turmeric.. the result looks good...
I have a question, I hope it isn't to silly. I love the recycling idea so I wondered if adding bits of dryer lint to the mixture would help in stability of the paper. or maybe even bits of threads or fabric. I am a new subscriber and new to trying to make paper
thank you so much! i needed a way to use my paper scraps but i couldnt make it traditionally because i dont have a blender 💕 also the dried flower idea is so cute!!
Woowahh!! I think the diferent shades are because oxidation of color on top of it when it can breathing. And nice trick to make paper paste. I use Egg boxes. They are allready made From recycled paper so you can just wait few minutes until it soak the water And then they are nicely smooth. 😇😉
Yes, right. I also realised it later it hot oxidised. And yes egg cartons are much easier to recycle. Try using packagin papers too. They are also recycle, melt super quick in water. 😊

A tip to make the blending faster and snoother: add a few marbles or pebbles to the bottle. They will help crush the paper.
