As Metallica's fun, I definitely prefer this version. This video sparked controversy from the moment it was released, of course it would be because Metallica is used to sing about issues that really matters, not just about a happy love song. This guys made this one his own version, a masterpiece. Nice reaction!! 🤘🏼😎🎶
Love this song!! While the original by Bob Seger will always be my favorite I think Metallica did an amazing job with this cover and gave it a different sound and meaning. Great reaction!! 🙂

There is always another choice. The video is a message, she is living a lie. She is believing her lie. She hates her life but trying to justify her wrong choices. She knows she needs to be better but doesn't know how to escape where she is now.
Not so easy because the second she gets a “real” job than how do you save up enough money to keep a roof over their heads and food in their belly? Everything costs more when you are poor. It goes along with “for the rent your paying you could own a house!” But how exactly can you buy a house and save for the down payment when it all goes to rent? I’m a domestic violence survivor and left barefoot in the snow with my 3 year old after her dad choked me for refusing to sleep with him while drunk than his brother pointed a gun at my daughter, his niece, and said “now will you STFU?”. I did everything right, went to the cops, got a restraining order, and then I… had nowhere to go. Every woman/child shelter was full in the entire tri state area and they couldn’t tell me when a spot would open. Luckily my family took me back after I had been isolated from them. But even with a roof over our heads I was working and the cost of daycare made it pointless because I was breaking even. It’s not easy. Not by a long shot . Add injuries and illness and now you’re in big trouble.
