Hat's off to the Belgian pilot here, flying in that energy state would not be allowed for a show in the US. Without sounding like everyone else who has posted, this display was indeed unique - thank you!

LEF "Low flight energy" normally equals stall, the pure balls that pilot has to be in LEF above the audience is impressive but sorta dangerous, they are normally limited to stay above a set air speed for that type of aircraft above the audience and bystanders. In 2009, I got to deploy to a joint exercise in Jordan with Belgian, American, and Jordanian F-16’s flying together. I remember the Belgian ground crews as a fun loving bunch!
As I have been involved in the Joint Strike Fighter Program, I have been lucky and priviledged to attend several Sanicoles. Not only are the Jordanians very skilled and talented, they are really cool dude that come chill and hang out after their demo.

Viper Crew Chief for ten years here. I'm not sure what the record is for keeping a Viper in burner, but I guarantee it was set on this video. EPIC amount of burner.
Kudos to that pilot and ground team! I've seen an F110 engine devour an entire fuel load at ground level without pushing an airframe in a full-tilt demo in 6 minutes!
Unbelievable ! Demonstrations, there are dozens of them, but something like that, I had never seen that! The pilot was really pissed off! He has an exceptional command of the F-16. This plane was, and still is, one of the best planes in the world. Thank you for this exceptional video and congratulations to this pilot!
Twilight, flares and afterburner the recipe for success. Not the afterburner but the pilot´s skills are insane! Hardly ever have I seen anything similar! The cloudy background made the afterburner more visible which was great. Never knew it can be switched on for so long! Amazing video!
To my pilots out there, without external tanks, how quickly does this much afterburner drain the fuel? Love seeing this pilot push the Viper to its limits in such a beautiful way. I mean he’s completely fearless and flexing the entire time. Big props on the videography as always. Without you we’d never know this is possible. You’re the best on YT brother 🛫📷🔥👏🏼

Maybe they're going extra low on fuel (thus saving weight) or something. Whatever it is, the Belgian F-16 demo always looks incredibly good. I've seen them a few times at air shows in The Netherlands.
That Belgique is certainly giving it some welly. For me this brings up the question of can some of the new kit dogfight. There will be times when a private in the field will need to attach bayonet and use the SA80 as a spear. Given only a few rounds of 30mm left, and they can’t go home yet, can modern flyboys….fly like they mean it?
I just love it my friend! Had myself also a good time there. My first film is now online with the interview with Beo. That demo of the F35 was really awesome. Just like Vrieske in this movie 💪💪
