@@Ultimatestudiosinc Question: Why is the first half of the waveform of the clave going negative (see 6:20 )? It appears that the polarity is flipped somewhere... Cheers.

I have reamped (have the JCR Studio) a few sessions but generally I can get bands to come in for a guitar day after drums and bass are done. I've also taken DIs that can be (reamped later) when they're not sure about the resulting tone, but, usually they're happy.

I usually do the same with having a guitar day. Sometimes scheduling doesn't quite work out (especially if the band/artist isn't close locally) and re-amping is the next best thing. Funny thing is I don't actually take a DI signal for most sessions. Only when we are in writing sessions and are moving fast and know we're going to have multiple guitar tones. That way we can stay in writing mode and tweak the guitar sounds later. Thanks for watching!

Is that an AKG d1000e I see? I love that mic as an alternative to a 57. The voicing options are really cool too.

total sidebar...I try adding a coffee mug and t shirt...and the cart still shows empty.
on your topic...haven't done re amping yet although I am curious to do it, but currently working in a band with two bassists and one drummer (me) and doing two separate combo amps for the bass rigs and then bussing them and using amp room to augment in the busses with just basic drum (two overheads, rack, floor, snare, kick) ....

I just don't understand using a DIY box for this kind of thing when I've never needed to use one -the signals okay going straight from the DAW to the amp'🤷‍♂️

It's not a DI box actually. It's ReAmp box. It's converting the signal from line level to instrument level and taking care of the impedance change as well as they are different. If going straight from the DAW is working for you that's great!
