What I don't like about broken promise is that you'll never want to use a 2 hander on melee ever again for any reason. Amp dmg on melee currently is pretty rare to achieve consistently and so it should be carefully implemented. There is a certain kind of satisfaction in making a melee character really work in this game that i think would be thrown out with this runeword. It seems to me that the runeword should be made in something other than a shield as well and possibly separate the amp dmg and corpse explosion into other items so that you get one or the other. I know a necro can run naked in chaos, but that's not the point. Does on kill work with pets?
@@seahawks875 yea, I think having it in a shield is just a greater incentive to use grief. I think what would be better is to have the runeword work in 1 and 2 handed weapons, lower the level of the corpse explosion and get rid of the amp damage on strike. I'd say for 2 handers it gets 400-600% enhanced damage. For 1 handers 300-350% damage. The other option could be to have the weapon base be hammers and crossbows since those get neglected a lot.
@@seahawks875 another option could be something like a shield or helm that increases the effectiveness of static field in hell difficulty so that it doesn't have as much of a cap. Things like storm lash, crescent moon, shaeffers or even hwanins armor, would get a new lease on life so to speak and might get people to use them instead of grief
Agree. Maybe a runeword, additionally, that keeps you from dying when you exit a game and magically it says you are still in game while getting whooped out by mobs as your merc checks his text messages. Or, a way of highlighting a legendary item, like D3, since items could be unintentionally hidden by terrain or a lot of items to ensure a player has the best chance for grabbing them if we are hunting for any.
Would really like +1 to teleport on a cheap yet otherwise shitty runeword. Like Mal Ith Shael, affordable high enough level, but you’d really take it for the unlimited teleport and the rest is very suboptimal for that level
I would also love to see more buffs to unique items that are difficult to find. So often you find a cool unique but then thing "well spirit is just better" "grief is just better" etc.
In my opinion D2R needs 3 changes 1. A unique jewel with FCR (e.g. 5-10%) 2. A recipe for the cube with which you can put exactly 2 sockets on all socketable items (weapons, armour, shields, helmets) with all quality levels With this, almost all uniques are upgraded and you have many more opportunities to reach FCR breakpoints 3. Another item with +1 to Teleport
Lotta good stuff there! Love adding more things for the leveling/playthrough process and giving more power to melee. And having alternatives for the "must-have" items like Enigma and Grief, maybe Infinity. I'd like to see changes in crafting recipes, roll X item with baseline Teleport, Y item with Charge or Dragon Flight, maybe Burst of Speed, Vigor. Dunno if this would be in charges or just raw + skill, prolly charges. Maybe for rings or boots? Buffing all crafting recipes could be cool in fact, along with adding runes to the cost, higher cost and higher reward, more diversity in gearing options is super cool. One biiiiig note is that we don't know, or I don't know I guess, if Terror zones and Sunder charms are staying or going away? Because those are big impact changes for the usefulness of teleport and the viability of a lot of builds!
I'd be very surprised if TZs or sunder charms disappear. Especially TZs. Have you heard any kind of suggestion that they might? Lots has been added to D2 over the years, not much taken away.
Yeah fair enough, what they introduced with the first season carried over to the next one too. I think you're right, thanks :) Though they might iterate on it a bit which is good. I guess I was thinking about D3 and WoW seasonal affixes that rotate or are new concepts every time.
Broken Promise is just a Christmas list of everything a melee could possibly want + auto corpse explosion. Either make it the ultimate physical damage chase item, or give it the extra spellcasting bonus, but not both. I understand that weapon users dont get the clear speed of light sorc, but giving them the best mob sweeping spell in the game automatically doesn't make them a satisfying melee character, it makes them a necromancer. The ED, DS, AMP DMG, Aura, Leech, FHR is already going to be amazing for clearing mobs, for example, on a physical Zealot who already has advantages such as crazy block, res, and leech sustain that said light sorc doesn't get. Also, natural spell casters could use this thing to gain super high level corpse explosion spam, making spellcasters even more insane at clearing mobs.
Guys for real we need: Better granularity in the drop rate VS number of players, currently playing with a friend (2 players) grants you 0% more drop rate, the breakpoints are 3 5 and 7 players... charm stash bigger chest stackable gems and runes bigger gold pickup radius New act Make Jah Ith Ber less expensive or add a less expensive alternative on a shield or something boost sets
I'd love to see a FCR centered runeword just for 200 mark to be easily obtained, such as *Treachery* 45 IAS to have *45-55* FCR. Or something like Large charms with 8-15 FCR or Jewelry with 1-8FCR
FCR is in a tough spot. adding 10% to one of the boots (Silkweave is a good candidate) and letting caster gloves have +10 base as well as letting all gloves roll FCR as an affix would help shake things up with the Mage/Trang stagnation. An armor with stats similar to Que-Hags and +2 skills with +40% or more FCR would definitely add some build options, with the downside of lacking rez. Edit: 2/20 + 2/20 + Arach + Magefist = 80, + hoto = 120, + spirit is 155. Having an armor with +45 FCR would pair nicely and free up both Ring slots, or allow 200fcr early by subbing in a +10 FCR ring for each missing 2/20.
Ah dude, you're so nice. The contrast between you and Coooley is a great watch. Enjoying the respect between you both, and some thoughtful commentary on what I think are some great suggestions contributed by Coooley and his community. Really like it 👍🏻.
The concepts are really neat too see. I prefer the idea of changing already existing runewords to be more valued as a meta item. Same with the unique items that are barely used. Some small changes could to existing equipment could make a major difference. An example I could think of would be to make a better proc for a lower resist curse on an item. Changing medusa's gaze lower resist proc to be A) higher level so it can break more immuneities and B) proc more frequently by changing the what causes it to proc from being struck to being attacked. While it wouldn't have the same ease of use as just getting a sunder charm, this would potentially allow players to use medusa's gaze in conjunction with an infinity merc as a new type of meta. Bye bye spirit meta for every caster as well. They could also change some of the mid-tier runewords to be much more on par with those low level runewords that easily overtake them. Take splendor as an example. It's a decent runeword for mid tier, but quickly replaced by spirit. This could be modified so that it could contend a bit more with a spirit, giving more potential for necro meta shields as well. Maybe change it so it has the potential of being 1-3 skills instead of just a flat 1. Cannot be frozen on a shield could give more flexibility when looking at rings/boots/sockets etc for multiple builds. Add on some FHR so it can somewhat compare to a spirit and increase the FCR but make it a variable stat as well. Something like 15-25% or so. A tiny bit of resistances would be nice too but that may be a bit too much for just Eth + Lum. That way its not super good for just 2 runes, you potentially have a +6 skills shield for a necro and can get some decent survivability out of it. It may not be a replacement for a spirit for all classes, but will open up other gearing options for most casters. Overall, I think they would benefit more from adjusting current item's stats to change the meta up a bit rather than add new items. If this means changing some of the runes required to create certain runewords so that there is more value placed on a variety of runes instead of just a select few, that's a potential option as well. It would also allow for a bit more flexibility when redesigning runewords so they aren't overly powerful for very cheap.......*cough* spirit *cough*
In regards to having current runewords in alternative bases...could we get crescent moon in claws (or just any 3os weapon) and have traps actually incorporate -% res gear? Would be an insane buff for Assassins with some really cool build designs.
100% agreed with the first runeword! -25%defense is such a minor add, but would make Low level melee characters enjoy their time a lot more with that DTM. Agreed on the 4th being overtuned. Last one (5th) No if it's THAT much better than rare weapons... vigor and charge - No go from me. If they went with 25-30% dmg reduction (varies) and remove the visionary xD... 360-425ed with 25ias 50frw. 30cb perhaps but not the rest that doesnt come from the runes. As for the Uniques that aren't great.. I agree with Mangsong that should probably have 30-50% resistances to enemies on all 3 elements if they're keeping the 30fcr etc. Astreons is alright as is but grief isn't xD and Tyraels needs either +1 to skills & 30-40frw or 2 to a class skills (randomly generated). That'd be sweet. Extremely valuable and people would notice when someone rocks one of these!
I really like both of these videos! Personally I think the stat "Slain Monsters Rest in Peace" is worse than useless and needs to restore health or something. Also, stacking two "Half freeze duration" items should grant Cannot Be Frozen! Changing these would make more items viable since Half freeze is a level 7 stat and useless by the time you get to Hell!

From a business perspective this makes the most sense.
One thing that would definitely shake the melee meta up would be to let A5 mercs wield axes. Why can't a Barbarian use an Axe? XD Anyways, 2x beast BA on A5 merc for level 18 fanat or 1x Beast BA + 1x Lacerator for level 9 fanat + 33% chance to cast Amp! I would definitely use that over Reapers Toll Might.
I agree on your last point here. We've gotten too spoiled on rune words because they provide a consistent set of stats that are optimal for the character they are being put on. I really wish some of these other items, whether they be super rare or unique, could be tweaked in a way to allow for better ranges of desirable mods for a specific build.
6:03 Agreed. This item as a shield is op. In addition to taking off the ED and the Deadly Strike, i’d also drop the life steal and change it to life per kill to fit the theme of what this runeword is supposed to be.
Seriously, S3 start has been announced in a tiny bluepost 4 weeks prior to its estimated start. Most likely 2.6 will just be a regular ladder reset without any real content update. Tbh I wouldnt be surprised if sunder charms, just like those S1 runewords just remain ladder only and they in fact just want to throw a final ladder reset in to keep you hooked until D4 release. Feedback on those runewords: 1) Madness -> +3 to a random class tree and 20frw for Sol Ith is powercreepy af. And too much variance. Same issue thats going on with skillers, lots of class trees are just not worth getting buffed, thats an issue the needs to be solved beforehand. 2) Fortunes Favor -> Speaking of powercreep. Thats a strictly better wisdom runeword at a WAY lower level requirement, thats obviously not gonna happen. Having 20frw+cnbf+ml+maek+huge ar boost is just too much power for such an easy to obtain runeword, we really dont need runewords that completely eliminate the natural gearing process. A ssf playthrough shouldnt be easy. 3) Head option for enigma -> Seems decent, but thats like the most obvious melee buff of all time, like removing the skills in exchange for attackspeed. The only reason you'd realistically want to have this is if you'd REALLY liked to run fortitude, but couldnt because teleport is too strong. 4) Broken promise -> Like what?! The powercreep on that one is not slightly too high, but over 9000 beyond stupid. Yeah lets give it corpse explosion for AoE. Oh yeah, lets give it amp, buffs the corpse explosion and eliminates immunities. Hm what else do melees like. Sure, fortitude damage plus deathly strike plus some open wounds for ubers. Now on to hit rating, blessed aim aura, lowering target defense, great job. Now finally give us some sweet defense and utility. There you go, 15% lifesteal, cnbf, 50% hit recovery. Oh yeah and teleport charges. . Sorry, no, just no, thats the type of wet dream item you created during those lonely nights with d2jamella. 5) Nights whatever, the weapon runeword -> Trying really hard to make a runeword that outslaps grief, obviously this one succeeds, just as overpowered as Broken Promise in that regard. Absolutely dont like the idea, currently barbs, zealers and alike just dont exist until you find that Lo rune, do you really want such an expensive runeword to replace it? Just give grief a reasonably strong nerf to bring in in line with botd/death/beast etc.(and ofc give some core buffs to the builds which required grief to work properly) Conclusion: Thats a huge pile of used tissues. And it all comes down to one simple misconception -> The miserable state of physical melee classes is not really an issue of poor itemization, but poor core balance in the first place. Like lets for example just take a short look at barbarians -> why do you still need to dual wield swords to realistically get to cap ww attack frames? Why is 4 frames not even an avaiable for Twohanded weapons? Why is it WW hit capped anyways? Just make it a flat X hits per target ffs. Why does leap attack give a flat amount of aoe damage instead of scaling with your weapon damage? Why is frenzy so horribly undertuned that you just use it to build up stacks and use double swing to actually deal damage? Why is warcry a complete joke in comparison to Nova, Frostnova and Poison Nova? Poor range, mediocre damage to mana ratio, weak synergies, no mastery to amp it up.
Being able to use different bases is a good point. The change to be able to make insight in a bow was a huge improvement when leveling IMO. The A1 merc survives so much better than A2 when using crap gear. I used to make insight in the first 4os polearm I found, now I don't even check polearms unless they are gray elite. You are spot on about unbending will. It's a good mid weapon but needing a 6os base makes it much less useful. 4 or 5 would make it much more appealing.
Here's a thought I had about uniques... what if by using the upgrading crafting recipe, it not only upgrades the base item stats but also upgrades the unique stats and possibly unlocks new stats. Now lower level unique become more usable in the end game and crafting becomes more valuable upgrading items. Thoughts?
I think Zod needs to be more important as i believe it's the hardest in the game to find. I want something that would up the worth of that and Cham even.
They need to add more attack ratings to weapon passives: barbs weapon skills / assassin claw mastery. Assassin claws master needs to have open wounds instead of critical strike.
I play d2 solo online. The only trading I allow is torch swaps. I love everyone of the legs. I work hard for my runes and the choice level is just right. Love that this poisenous company has a little spark of hope. D4's cosmetics, pre order exclusives all be it mundain, xp boosts and whatever they will think up next are giving me more confidence that my solo online adventure is worth it.
I don't have much experience with melee but they sound good. I just worry about power creep with adding more and more powerful runewords slowly. I feel sunder charms made some builds say blizz sorc too strong so its kind of already happening, and its very hard to avoid
Did it really make blizz too strong? Or did it just make blizz really cheap? I think the overall damage is only slightly better, but lots of other classes caught up. At least end-game wise. On the flipside, a basically naked lvl 70 blizz sorc can just run through things. I think it made her cheaper...not necessarily OVERPOWERED. Or, not any more than she already was, anyway.
id love for some of the og items to get buffs. grandfather, doombringer, valk helm, valor ya know all the god tier items that d1 had or d2 used in early patches. that have been left in the dust now. i really think melee needs aoe , splash damage etc added on some items with 1 handed and 2 handed varients. i liked the dope stats of that 2 handed axe cooley showed but that doesnt help players that are melee that want to use a shield. melee chars need leaps more help. the more changes that happen and items added just shows how much barbs have been left in the dust and are pretty much ass since they changed armors etc not being def glitched a little tanky battle turtle back in the day now its a turtle with no shell floating in boiling water.
Broken promise would be a wicked edition to a kicksin aswell. That Amp damage on a shield is better then atmas scarab which you could then use highlords or a gg sin ammy or metalgrid!
Phoenix shield has 400 Ed and I can promise you with an ethereal death ettin axe with 500 top end, fortitude, and Phoenix shield my whirlwind barb still ain't gonna clear cows a FRACTION as fast as a javazon or any caster. Now I still don't think with this shield it will clear faster it just isn't possible targeting single targets. Because remember whirlwind doesn't proc ANYTHING. And you can't use frenzy with it because it's in a shield. So would it really be overturned considering you can only use concentrate, bash, and berzerk to actually utilize the procs of the shield. But it does seem like it should require 1 more high rune but then it's gotta be in a monarch and I'd love to see some shield diversity
all runewords rly good idea just need to remove tele charges from the shield. using mystery, broken promise, forti + whatever wep you prefer for a melee char will be nice to try out, melee rly needs some more love imo, for some chars not all ofc
I would like to see some new unique jewels which could give random free skills like teleport, that way you need socket items to put them like tyraels or other unused uniques SS or even CoA. Also some good mods for weapons like adding 200 dmg in example.
i have interesting qwestion about runeword ``Broken Promisse`` qwestion is the cast corpse explosion when you kill first monster make exploved it imidiatly when he was killed , or it needs to be some death body near ???
What about giving Tyrael's Might +5 all skills? That would make it the best +all skills chest in the game, which to me goes along with it's insane rarity. Nothing else about it would need to change really, because it would fulfil a niche nothing else can and you would lose quite a bit from choosing it over other items. If this is a bit OP, maybe remove the +%damage to demons.
Id love u to do a Hero Edited version of Broken Promise runeword and test it on a throw barb with frenzy. Cuz this could be the new ultimate cow when if it works as i imagine it would. Plz xD
Playing mainly barb, I would hate Cham to be in an endgame weapon rw because it crushes many corpses which cannot be horked. But a definite "yes" on more RWs using cham, sur and zod!
I think we need less focus on runewords and more focus on improving the elite uniques to make them actually usable. And maybe add some new tc87 uniques. There are a lot of elite bases that are unused and dont have any unique version
Would love to see all the New runewords and specially shiled and 2 hand weapon for melee. Melee barbs and zealers would love them. Also value on unique items would be nice to be upgraded so that grief is not the only Word that People and myself are using. Found Thunder maul CR. Basher yesterday - keep it Just because its so rare.
One of the big issues amongst the many for melee, is that to just be competitive they have to use a very limited selection of gear, which for the most part has 0 focus on MF. So you either end up with a reasonable character with 0 MF or a MF character incapable of anything past p3
My most wondered thing is buff for Splendor shield so it will have more than 10fcr and you will be able to reach 125 fcr with it and have something alternative to spirit shield
I would love to see an armour runeword granting charge. we all got teleport. would be cool to be able to chose charge as well! imagine charge on a javazon for instance. :D their fcr breakpoints are horrible so would be good if it would be similar stats as enigma, frw, +2skills etc
Just a really derpy idea I just had, but could Broken Promise be useful by a one-handed throw-barb? Level 10 Blessed Aim, -35% target defense, 300% enhanced damage, 25% Deadly Strike, 50% Open Wounds. On top of that you get the corpse explosion. "Striking" means melee only, right? But still... I don't know, could this outweigh double throw?
Would Corpse Explosion chain off of it's own kills? Broken Promise sounds really strong. It would even be good for some casters. I'm not actually sure how the "cast CE on kill" is applied. Does it have to be triggered by dealing the last hit with a melee attack or do spells work?
I might be off here, but wouldn’t one option be to change how some skills work in relation to PVP and PVM be possible? Much like how DR works etc. Given the fact that bone necros are OP in PVP but still needed the buff in PVM could be addressed in a similar fashion. Being an old player from way back before LoD I remember how the shift totally ruined the bowazon to the extent that it was simply no longer viable in PvM. Happy to see the meta shifting somewhat but I still thing there should be a major overhaul regarding much of what you and Coooley talked about.
I'm still waiting for Flickering Flame and Mist for non ladder characters. They said they would be available after season one and they broke that promise.
Re: Mystery. I would have a hard time using the same runes to make a helmet with no skills on it vs an enigma with skills on it.... and just not deal with the 'difficult' choices.
Mystery will reduce diversity, because you will no longer need a rare helm, but do enigma + vipermage combo, this then unlocks extra FCR so you no longer need 20/2 crafted amu..
I think new runewords would be nice but I think my solution actually looks a little different... I would want a 5% chance to create a runeword in another type of item. So Think Enigma being made into a helm or a shield or a weapon. or fortitude being made into a shield... What I think this does is it creates a real rune sink. It will allow the runes to keep a high value throughout the season. (I would say that this would be a ladder only feature). I think that rolling in different bases is way better.
They also need to fix uniques and sets so that they can be options instead of everything having to be runewords past level 60. Some players don't even bother picking up uniques or set items. It's just runes, runes, runes.
Hey 4/5 ain't bad. I give his video a 10/10! Maybe an 11 for the shades. GG, my friend

I really like the melee focused runewords, they look like they would make melee a lot more viable
I would also love to see more buffs to unique items that are difficult to find. So often you find a cool unique but then thing "well spirit is just better" "grief is just better" etc.
In my opinion D2R needs 3 changes
1. A unique jewel with FCR (e.g. 5-10%)
2. A recipe for the cube with which you can put exactly 2 sockets on all socketable items (weapons, armour, shields, helmets) with all quality levels
With this, almost all uniques are upgraded and you have many more opportunities to reach FCR breakpoints
Guys for real we need:
Better granularity in the drop rate VS number of players, currently playing with a friend (2 players) grants you 0% more drop rate, the breakpoints are 3 5 and 7 players...
charm stash
bigger chest
stackable gems and runes
bigger gold pickup radius
New act
Make Jah Ith Ber less expensive or add a less expensive alternative on a shield or something
boost sets
Best intro yet. Wasn’t forced at all and you looked completely comfortable. Keep it up!
New Runeword Confirmed! for patch 2.6 Ladder season 3
6 Socket body armour Zod Zod Zod Zod Zod Zod - Its called "Chuck Norris Old Used Jacket"
Cannot Be Frozen
50% Damage reduction
100% poison length reduced
Max poison res +20%
Max fire res +20%
Max cold res +20%
Max lightning res +20%
Max magic res +20%
+195 All res
+95 Magic res
Lvl 25 Conviction aura when equipped
+1 Teleport
+20 Battle orders
Lvl 40 Meditation aura when equipped
100% Crushing blow
100% Open Wounds
100% Chance to cast lvl 40 amplify damage on striking or attacking
100% Chance to cast lvl 40 corpse explosion on monster death
Sunders ALL resistances!
-100% requirements
In all seriousness though, I reckon a simple revert of the sunder charms to allow lower resist & conviction to work fully again, would require the fewest lines of code change that would allow for the greatest amount of content change.
From a business perspective this makes the most sense.
Insight in Swords has been one of my most highly desired updates for years.
Heeey! Where is my "shades" intro re-recorded 10 times? :D
Ah sorry, there it is: 1:11
LUL
One thing that would definitely shake the melee meta up would be to let A5 mercs wield axes. Why can't a Barbarian use an Axe? XD
Anyways, 2x beast BA on A5 merc for level 18 fanat or 1x Beast BA + 1x Lacerator for level 9 fanat + 33% chance to cast Amp! I would definitely use that over Reapers Toll Might.
I'd pair that with Beast a Death, personally. 50 percent crushing blow and huge ED.
Lol and act1 merc cannot wield sword, and their hire boss is holding a sabre 😃😆
I agree on your last point here. We've gotten too spoiled on rune words because they provide a consistent set of stats that are optimal for the character they are being put on. I really wish some of these other items, whether they be super rare or unique, could be tweaked in a way to allow for better ranges of desirable mods for a specific build.
6:03
Agreed. This item as a shield is op. In addition to taking off the ED and the Deadly Strike, i’d also drop the life steal and change it to life per kill to fit the theme of what this runeword is supposed to be.
At first i thought so too but a melee character has to use a 1h weapon instead which severely reduces damage and the block rate is shit.
Feedback on those runewords:
1) Madness -> +3 to a random class tree and 20frw for Sol Ith is powercreepy af.
Just give grief a reasonably strong nerf to bring in in line with botd/death/beast etc.(and ofc give some core buffs to the builds which required grief to work properly)
Conclusion: Thats a huge pile of used tissues. Poor range, mediocre damage to mana ratio, weak synergies, no mastery to amp it up.
i hope for more bases for runewords, just imagine insight in a sword on an act5 merc paired with plague
Thoughts?
lots of normal/exceptional items are already S tier endgame. think about commonly upgraded items.
Path of exile
Great ideas! I hope we see something from this ideas soon ☺️
I think Zod needs to be more important as i believe it's the hardest in the game to find. I want something that would up the worth of that and Cham even.
They need to add more attack ratings to weapon passives:
barbs weapon skills / assassin claw mastery.
It made so many other builds viable that I don't care if cold Sorc are even less expensive to clear everything.
broken promise is fine as it is considering the rarity of droping each rune requiered.
Also, please bring back piercing guided arrow!!!
id love for some of the og items to get buffs. grandfather, doombringer, valk helm, valor ya know all the god tier items that d1 had or d2 used in early patches. that have been left in the dust now. i really think melee needs aoe , splash damage etc added on some items with 1 handed and 2 handed varients. i liked the dope stats of that 2 handed axe cooley showed but that doesnt help players that are melee that want to use a shield. melee chars need leaps more help. the more changes that happen and items added just shows how much barbs have been left in the dust and are pretty much ass since they changed armors etc not being def glitched a little tanky battle turtle back in the day now its a turtle with no shell floating in boiling water.
Tyrael's Might needs +10 to teleport.
Edit, and an aura, maybe fanaticism.
I would love to increase the array of runewords giving OffTree skills to see more hybrid builds playing the game
Broken promise in a 2 hander would make more sense. It could be a potential competitor with reapers for merc aswell
Broken promise would be a wicked edition to a kicksin aswell. That Amp damage on a shield is better then atmas scarab which you could then use highlords or a gg sin ammy or metalgrid!
Crescent moon in claws!
Yup, that would be sick! CM and Plague combo
Sur Cham Zod for that helm would boost those runes value.
I'd love a runeword that gives to raise skeleton and skeleton mastery, so you can use it on any character
Also, that last wep is just stupid op.
Very good Video, pls dont Stop creating stuff Like this ! Hopefully the Devs will See this Video.
Greetings from Germany 🙋🏼♂️
def agree with the sur and cham point...they need more uses!
I like mystery into a helmet. I also like the name is synonymous with enigma.
add orbs of corruption to terrorzones and have the only downside being the item disappears when it fails.
I agree with the different bases part
Cresent moon being added to claws would be soon good
mystery helm with double zod + cham would be interesting
all runewords rly good idea just need to remove tele charges from the shield. using mystery, broken promise, forti + whatever wep you prefer for a melee char will be nice to try out, melee rly needs some more love imo, for some chars not all ofc
The DB seal of back to the drawing board should be a thing.
Remove Hit Blinds and make it a 5 rune RW for Knight's Vigil
But a definite "yes" on more RWs using cham, sur and zod!
man i love these thumbnails
I think we need less focus on runewords and more focus on improving the elite uniques to make them actually usable. And maybe add some new tc87 uniques. There are a lot of elite bases that are unused and dont have any unique version
agreed. buff tc 87 uniques
I agree that they need to look into a lot of unique items and maybe even revamp sets to make them more useful.
Broken Promise, finally a smiter has wave clear INSERT KAPPA
Just a really derpy idea I just had, but could Broken Promise be useful by a one-handed throw-barb?
Level 10 Blessed Aim, -35% target defense, 300% enhanced damage, 25% Deadly Strike, 50% Open Wounds.
On top of that you get the corpse explosion.
"Striking" means melee only, right? But still... I don't know, could this outweigh double throw?
Nice seal of approval
Broken promise for 2 handed weapons only would be cool. On sheilds that would be too much but something like that for 2h would be cool. 😎
I like the honest trailer and still like to hear all you 3 opinions!
Would Corpse Explosion chain off of it's own kills? Broken Promise sounds really strong. It would even be good for some casters.
I'm not actually sure how the "cast CE on kill" is applied. Does it have to be triggered by dealing the last hit with a melee attack or do spells work?
it wouldnt chain since I dont think CE kills count as you killing
I think on kill doesn't work for spells at all. For example decrepify from kill on executioner's justice does not work with spells
@@peigen7151 Ty. Well, that's a little disappointing if you wanted to do something crazy and weird but makes more sense as a melee item.
Thanks DB.
Cham instead of Jah in Mystery would make it perfect
I love runewords that spell stuff and imo NefElAmn is the best I have ever seen
Mystery should be 'JahETHBer'!!!
Give it the indestructible mod, remove the jah, and replace it with zod. I'd like zod runes to not be so worthless from a trade standpoint.
Broken promise + javazon??? Def too op haha
Let's get these rune words made!!
The Mystery helm is the best suggestion ever! Would love more choices rather than cookie cutter setups that requires no afterthought.
They also need to fix uniques and sets so that they can be options instead of everything having to be runewords past level 60. Some players don't even bother picking up uniques or set items. It's just runes, runes, runes.
love the video dude, all your original videos are great, this is an original take too! so keep it up, eh!
There needs to be more ZOD runewords, its the hardest rune to find after all
