- Whenever I have reviewed a Deepcool AIO, I've always been amazed by the solid thermal performance and excellent value for money. But what happens when DeepCool adds an LCD screen to its AIO coolers? Does value for money go out of the window? Does a Deepcool AIO with an LCD suddenly become an expensive premium product? Thankfully not, this is DeepCool we are talking about. The Mystique AIO from Deepcool has all the features of a premium brand but without the high price tag, but can it still produce that chart-topping thermal performance? Let's find out.

Let us know what you think about this new Deepcool AIO! and apologies for all the spam comments lately, we are removing as many of them as fast as we can.
good review great cooler. now stop messing about and test the big bot arctic liquid III 420 : )
How is the hardware monitoring? Is it real time? Or is there a delay like the asus ryujin 3 or the msi coreliquid with lcd aio?
They need to fix their software security. You should never ever have to disable security to install software of this type.
slick design
no rgb BS
take my money
Lcd died right after installing the software…😢
come a long way in his presenting skills, I remember when he always seemed very nervous in his videos now comes across as very natural.

Thanks!
@@TheVoxmouth LOL !

Thank you for the detailed review! Can't wait to buy it next week, it's time to upgrade my old Deepcool Castle 240EX, it served me very well :)
cool i waited for video like this good job keep goin
Awesome review 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
they really are becoming my go to company for coolers and other stuff- brilliant.
I actually bought one of these just 2 days ago and have it installed and running and cooling a 13900k and so far it's great and keeping temps in check very well, the screen did it for me though it's really nice and sharp and gifs/animations look really nice on it.
The software is simple enough to use but i noticed it does not show liquid temp and also you can not show GPU temps on the screen itself but you can see that on the software screen, maybe and update will add this in time.
Now Deepcool is not a brand i would normally go for but that big screen and price point pulled me in and i like it very much and it does it's job very well and looks the part.
Thanks for the great review James.👍👍
Great feedback, good to hear its working well for you!
Nice how is the pump noise? Do they allow you to reduce the pump speed at all?
Pump noise, well i can't say i have heard it to be honest maybe on first start-up and no rpm adjustment for the pump in the software that i can see. @@ouki4925
Good feedback to hear
You cannot modify the pump speed and the problem is It makes a really annoying "beep" continuous noise
Thanks for the review James. 👌🏻
You're welcome. 😊
Been running my Mystique 360 for 4 weeks now and it absolutely smashed the performance of my old EK ELITE AIO, doesn’t look as premium but is half the price but I have been waiting on better AIO pump iterations to cool my 13900k which in cinebench tests was hitting 100 degrees my deepcool has tamed this at 85 degrees. Which mean my CPU has seen a buff of 100mhz while gaming and stability scores in 3d mark of 99.7% and even a 99.9% I’m absolutely blown away by its price to performance.
It’s awesome
How can the software be downloaded it won’t let me download says conection timed out
good review James
Thanks for review
the design looks slick specially for an all black build!
I noticed that coolers with perfectly flat base performs better on on AMD system than Intel one. Coolers with base that’s slightly convex does better on Intel than AMD.
Awesome work
Good review, thank you.
thanks!
This looks really well built and its performance is impressive considering it also has the bling LCD display.
Nice review + i wish they add the ability to add videos to that LCD, not only pictures and GIFs 💔
Cheers for the review, picked one up and it's arriving today looking forward to seeing how it performs.
No problem 👍
Do you hear your pump ? Mine makes a constant whining noise while running is it normal?
Doesn’t sound normal to me. I’m sure James would have mentioned that if it was normal. Can you send it back for a replacement ?
@@theonlyredspecial I have contacted deep cool support still waiting for a reply. I bought it from amazon so I can return it. I am from EU not US let see how deepcool handles EU.
I love deepcool. Use their cases and coolers in ALOt of my builds. Always can expect solid performance and quailty.
My next aio for sure, currently rocking lt720 with noctua fans on 5950x, amazing aio.
That’s brilliant. LCD is great too.
Looks great ! Well priced. I am using a EKWB Dark 240 on a R5 7600x @ 5200 at 1245MV in a FORMD T1 V2 sandwich case, and its great. Waiting for the R7 9700X3D and 5090 FE
beautiful cooler..the only downer is the sata connector, since all i'm using are nvme drives,I would have to rethink my tight cable managment to add the psu's sata cable in the mix.thank you for the video!
Hi James. A well produced, informative, and through review, and best of all, no music. The screen is the real selling point except for those who place, God forbid, their case on the floor. For system stats I'll rather use my keyboard mounted iCUE NEXUS as it elemates the need to twist my neck.
You might have a large room and desk ,but sticking a mid size desktop on my desk is impossible, hence the floor. Not to mention the noise of the fans when placed on a desk.
Thanks for your reply. I never place my PCs on the floor. Because it gives the dust bunnies a new home.@@brianwest7344
Plenty of adults put their computers on the floor. I've got a five foot wide desk and between monitors and speakers, there's no place to put a Disco Aquarium case and as @brianwest7344 notes it helps with fan noise.
That said, I'm looking to move my rig into a Montech King 95 Pro case (whenever Micro Center gets them in stock) and found a shelf that I could place next to my desk to elevate it. It will also move it farther away so my guitar pickups won't pick up so much RF/EM interference
I kinda wish I had waited for this AiO, but overall very happy with the LT720 in my system.
Good evening. Do you have plans to test the AIO Thermal Right Frozen Edge? This AIO showed very decent results compared to more expensive competitors.
Nice review. Looks to be a top AIO. Having to have an internet connection to install a CPU cooler is ridiculous.
You don't need Internet for the cooler... wtf
This AIO is top notch. Had the LT720. It was amazing. DeepCool and Antec are so underrated imo. They make amazing and affordable products. Keep up the great work you guys and stay safe.
Are antec better now ? havent bought anything from them in years. always were a bit hit and miss for me
I was hoping the LCD would support MP4 as well, but at this price, I can't really complain.
This is my next AIO cooler! I have had the 240 Captain Pro, the LT 720 280 on another build, and they are solid coolers that dont break the bank, highly recommend.
Temps are v.good and it looks nice, But pump is LOUD AF so annoying (no option to control pump speed)
@@BlueStripesCommando Thats a Bit concerning!
question is will this aio be good for the 7800x3d chip? id be getting the 360mm not 240mm.
great video thumbs up from me!
Yes i had 7800x3d with mystique 360
So the Pump is made by Deepcool not Asetek? I remember the latest asetec pump is 8 gen. When you mention 5th gen a bit surprised. But fair play to Deepcool
Such a good brand bought a few things from them. Always quality. They do need to fix that software however. That’s bad.
Man, almost had me. Its gorgeous, but the wires along with needing a internet connection to install and needing to disable security to download chinaware makes it fall short for me. Really thought I was gonna pick one of these up, damnit.
Do we have any info about the white version?
.
Asus tuf b650 plus or msi mag b650 tomahawk.... which one is better or both are almost same ??
in my country both are same price.
Can you please share your opinion regarding this..
Why there are not results with Silverstone IceMyst 420mm on AMD platform?
If I install Lian Li SL-120 Infinity fans on the radiator, how can I adjust the colors of the fans if not with the DeepCool software? Can I adjust it with the motherboard? What connection cable do I need for that?
is it normal to always open the software everytime i turning on the pc? to be able the lcd to work? or there is another way?
They should make a variant without the screen but the same block design. It would help drop the price and attract those that don't care about gimmicks like an LCD screen.
Can you suggest a AIO with cableless to match the ASUS BTF cableless??
Please review the THERMALRIGHT Frozen Vision
If I swap the fans with argb fans, can I synchronized its color with the rest of argb fans using DeepCreative Application?
Mine doesn’t show the CPU fan speed, shows 0 RPM for some reason. Temperature is fine when playing between 60-68C, shows all the other data though, but not the CPU temps. Can you help please ? Otherwise love the looks and performance. Thanks a lot
Too bad about the lack of ARGB fans on the rad. I've currently got a DeepCool LS720 in my rig and that came with them. Odd omission considering anyone who'd want a display on their waterblock is certainly running a Disco Aquarium rig with all the Are Gee Beeze for more FPSes.
I expect an RGB fan version will come at some point, a bit like how Deepcool did the LS/LT 720, RGB/Non-RGB.
Is the Galahad performance still the best?
That screen is very cool although the gyroscopic sensors seem a bit of an overkill! Also do prefer a circular CPU block.
Well it means it’s always ‘upright’ on any board
How is the mounting pressure on AMD?
Are using third party frame will decrease the temp?
Ahhhhh. Just 3 weeks after I settled with DeepCool LT720 even though I wanted an AIO with lcd display 💀💀💀
so just getting ARGB on motherboard is enough and better than LCD screen due to their software have issues and still under development, huh?
thanks for the video about this detail!
Arctic still by far the best value
It’s a nice aio but ain’t cheap. It works out to around $300 here in Canada
I wish you could see the gpu temperature on the screen
Every company jumping on that LCD screen look. Deepcool is pricing it very well compared to corsair and such
In 2024 AM5 best cooling performance.
I'm using Arctic LF 420mm, Waiting to realease P14 Max fans.
The AMD mounting mechanism is so much better than that of the Arctic Freezer III. Not better enough to make it worth the extra money, but better it is!
I had the same issue with the false postive trojan... Scared the life out of me.
Just thought Id come back and say that I had to send my unit back as it had really bad pump issues. beware as this seems to be a common issue.
I got mine yesterday and it is great in terms of cooling and looks. Buy I did notice some issues with the software. The software causes all my games to stutter and it is also causing HDD parking noises in idle. So what I do is that I let the software start with Windows 11 and as soon as it is displaying my chosen picture or gif I exit the software in my taskbar. No more stutters and no more HDD parking sound in idle anymore. This method does not work with real time temperatures in the display though. I just hope they fix it in a future software update.
What GPU are you using? Have you mentioned this to Deepcool?
What do I want with a 360 with my 350watt tdp though
How does this compare with the asus ryujin iii?
Love the cooler, but not thrilled with the fans. The was they daisy chain is not very good. I love the way they use all standard cables and nothing is proprietary.
Again, I wish for a version without fans! Fans that come with aio coolers usually stay in the box. Matching fans is important in a good gaming build.
Unfortunate about needing to disable windows security to install. Same with needing the internet for the install. There is no excuse for this, and to be honest it would likely be a deal breaker for me. There is no reason the cooler or display should need the internet to install. Makes me wonder what it is communicating.
Is it true that pump speed is locked to 100% all the time?
Nice performance on AMD. Better the Liquid freezer III even. And still leading performance on Intel for the price and looks.
after dealing with the headaches with my MSI S360, ill never buy another AIO that requires a usb conncetion. windows cant communicate with it half the time on boot. just sends the device manager into a disconnect loop with beeps until you uninstall and reinstall. ordered the new liquid freezer 3 to replace it
I have one of these, and am having lots of issues with the screen freezing when displaying gifs, has anyone else had issues like this ? If so any solutions
would it be possible to setup a push-pull configuration?
That would be possible with this cooler if you purchase more fans.
Arctic LF3 pump rpm max 4200, why you use in test as 2800 ?
Shame they only make it in 360mm format, and not the standard 280 or 420mm.
420 is coming ..
I really like the display. But I don't want the bulk of an AIO. Why can't we get this same display on an air cooler? Deepcool makes a fantastic air cooler. Slap that screen on top of one of those.
the LT720 has 85CFM fans while this has 72CFM. How much is the difference ? What happens if you put LT720 fans on the Mystique ?
The FT12 SE fans have about a 30% higher static pressure than the FK120's which makes them better for radiators, so if you but the LT720 fans on the mystique there will probably be higher temps.
The strength of Deepcool is them experimenting with fans more than others using one model for years. We just had wave of Deepcool coolers with, if I remember well, FK fans and they already got new ones. Placing more efficient fans on the same cooler will take it higher on noise-normalized charts - simple as that.
is the FK120 fans good?
@@jeremyg2236 Performance-wise they are decent as retail fans and very good as ones sold with coolers. But their downside is unpleasant acoustics and quite high minimum speed of ~500rpm. What fans do you need for?
@@2MichalChojnowski2 just case fans really. One that is not noctua, lian Li, corsair, nzxt (overpriced stuffs), but still excellent.
@@jeremyg2236 Cheaper fans mean lower longevity. In 120mm category affordable, but great performers are SilentiumPC/Endorfy Fluctus PWM. They come also with ARGB. For 140mm ones I would go with be quiet! Pure Wings 3 (BL108) or 140mm version of Fluctus, but only if way cheaper. Generally go with 140mm case fans wherever you can.
Man I definitely have a different concept of value pricing than you UK guys. Still a nice review. If you are cooling an i9 or a Ryzen 9, paying a little more for better performance is usually money well spent in any case.
It’s all very expensive in uk sadly
size LCD same with size lian li galahad ii lcd 2,8 inch
How can the software be downloaded the website is garbage won’t download
I would like to see the cooler when the 14900KS is released with that 400 watt consumption, lol;l;l
That will be interesting.
Bottleneck is to get the heat from the CPU to the cooler. (didnt delid it). CPU runs at 350 watt and the radiator is very cool. cpu is on 100 degrees limit within seconds
@@KitGuruTech
Didja wonder if, perhaps, the DeepCool software requires an Internet connection because it's a trojan?
AVOID
After watching this and another video on the Mystique 360, I purchased one for my new PC build. The LCD screen failed the day I installed the Mystique 360. Windows Device Manager now shows it as: "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)" and yes, it's definitely the Mystique as the error goes away when I unplug the USB header.
If you check online, you'll see I'm not the only one experiencing this problem, and I'm geographically pretty distant from these other people. My advice: Buy another AIO.
It sounds like it requires less dumb to install. Can I add my Bernie Sanders (Colonel Sanders) gifs without it going crazy like my Ryujin. It would be nice to not have to use armoury crate. Can I get one of these in 420?
Isnt the pump rpm on this thing non adjustable? thats a big fail
It Is adjustable, just not PWM control.
And do you know how i can adjust it? I couldn't adjust the rpm Not even by Bios, SpeedFan, etc.@@KitGuruTech

Performs well but not one I'd buy, I don't care for RGB or a screen, I bought an Arctic Liquid Freezer III 280 instead for 60 quid, very happy with it.
You cant argue with the price/performance ratio of the LF3 right now.
@@KitGuruTech absolutely, it's amazing value and fantastic performance. I love a stealth build personally, but maybe I'm in the minority
i would rather switch to iwr Lian Le Perfomance one
its blocking the first DIMM slot
No Alphacool AIOs on your testing? Really?
Their software is a deal breaker for me. It prevents my pc from rebooting and causes it to hang.
Thats alot of wiring. The Arctic literally uses one wire when you use your own fans.
True but it doesn't have an LCD so it does not require SATA power and a USB data cable.
@@KitGuruTech They could of ran the sata wiring up the tubing to come out the back of the radiator. for a cleaner install. That product is very messy. Yes it can be done because arctic runs their fan wiring that way. Im sure you know what Im talking about. Who wants to run a wire from the middle of your motherboard to a power connect on the rear. If that design isnt changed. People purchasing motherboard with connector on the rear will give this product a hard pass.
Not having certified software is a big nono. 100% fail it needing internet
maybe that will change - we will feed viewer comment back to them, we already mentioned it both to them and in the review.
Totally agree, and why do companies think it's okay to release unfinished software?
Asus RYUJIN 360 is king
