I invested in a festool plunge saw just over a year ago. It has absolutely revolutionised the finish to my work. An amazing piece of kit & the best on the market. 👍🏻
I have learned so much from your channel. I just wanted to say thank you!! I wish I could be your apprentice and learn more… keep making content bc you are helping more than you know!! watching from Shreveport Louisiana!!!
I first worked with Festool tracksaws in 2000 in after moving to Berlin, Germany helping a friend remodel an apartment. Very impressed with the quality and ease.
I have been watching your videos for ages now and it has really helped me with my own wood work in the house cheers mate keep them coming #dusterlumber
Man do i love that festool. I cant count the number of times that puppy has saved me from additional work. I literally cannot count the times. Cause i don’t have one. Cause I’m broke. And i want one.
I've seen them use this cutting guide dozens of times, just like I've seen your videos dozens of times. However, no one has ever shown how. Is it magic!
Woof. That's quite a bench. It's pretty big fun watching you enjoy it all! Really very nicely done, Bravo! One wonders how much time it takes to produce a short... Can't be easy.
you getting the new one with the scoring blade I am getting it for sure with the digital table saw I have finally broke down and decided to get that table saw
I love that your first two cuts with the jig saw were used to remove the bulk material so there would no be tear out. I would have foolishly tried to hold the cut off in place and make only two cuts with my jig saw. I learn so much from watching your videos (even the shorts). Thanks!
I love your videos! Nice to see all the joints you make, the cuts and tools you use! Do you have a video explaining how to measure and cut correctly? Especially the marking and then sawing on or next to the line? To be able to saw precisely?
Thats a great trick you used with your jig saw ! Thanks , never thought of doing it that way , But its better than how I have done it in the past , , starting a radius cut about a 1/2" from the end of my mark .
Always glued to my phone watching you work. I like how you clamp the material to the table vertically for the depth cut. Where'd you get the vertical bench dogs?
Thanks I appreciate that. I got those from Armor Tool Armor Tool Dog fences - 14" x two amzn.to/3gUav6k Armor Tool Dog fences - 4" x two amzn.to/3tooUga Armor Tool horizontal dog clamp amzn.to/38z16fU Armor Tool Inline dog clamps amzn.to/3DFEyZ1
Nice, but I would probably route that out with a simple home made jig and finish internal corners with a chisel. Thus saving a shed load of money and 100% accurate. I have made my own tracks for standard cordless saws. But as everyone knows track saws are for those that can’t cut a straight edge. They weren’t around when I was learning.
All I care about is the simplest action of cutting most of the floating falloff off first. Amazing how simple, obvious, and often never done that action is.
I would’ve used my crosscut sledge, stand the piece on its side and nibble out the recess. I would just need a giant crosscut sledge, a giant table saw, and a giant to do it.
*Gets out handsaw to do the crosscut, makes a cup of tea. Saves $1000
I thought it was a bit overkill also. Nice japanese pullsaw would have done it for $40
I was going to say the most expensive cross cuts I've ever seen that still needed a jigsaw and chisel to clean up.😅
@@AmalsFutureHusbandJapanese pull saws are for clueless tik tock wannabes ..😅 you've heard of the sheople effect?

You must be a millionaire with all them festools 😍
It's called debt.
Your assembly table is great, it doesn’t get enough credit!
Thank you very much 😁🙏
As a late bloomer..just got into wood working 20 years ago..That tool looks real swell. And that table..wowsers.
Does that mean you're a late bloomer boomer? 😊

Awesome stuff. Fun to watch a skilled Carpenter at work with great tools. 👍
Actually all those tools remove the skill.
@nicholasdaub8765 that's one way of looking at it..I guess hand tools are the real test
@@nicholasdaub8765 Who cares. This makes your life much easier.
What part of this makes him actually skilled?
Any idiot can make this stuff with those tools
That’s not a carpenter , that’s a craftsman!

Your workshop really is like heaven on earth 🤣😉.

A good tradesman never blames his festools for his own mistakes. 👊👊
Yes totally agree with learning a lot from your videos. It’s not just about the equipment. Appreciate the videos.
Glad you like them! 🙏

Love the track saw
When those blades, bits, saws, knives get full I'd love to show them some love, TNT Sharpening

Very nice cutting tools
Always enjoy your videos

Do a long or short video on the table! We are all jealous and want to make one.
Thats a nice saw
Been a fan since the beginning.. but a smaller track saw to make a 1 1/2” cut? When you brought the jigsaw out right after?
Super cool

Guess everyone is not as perfect as you are
does your awesome bench have a prefab top or did you drill all the holes yourself?
I drilled those. Some I did with a CNC. The rest I did with a drill and a Drillmate
i did them when the brand name wash festo 40 years ago it still works i can not buy new if had the money yes for sure
I want one, but I've been doing this for 30yrs...lots of quick accurate ways of doing things without spending a shitton of money

Thanks!
Even his shoes are Festool colors! What a brand 😂
Does it always plunge to the guide mark regardless of the depth of cut.
I wouldnt use a circularsaw for that i would either use the second saw but great work❤
The grain looks very nice. Which kind of wood is it?
That is pine!
@@loganvenable611locks different to our pine in Europe

Is that short Festool track something to buy...or do you cut one from a larger track?

What brand chisels do you use?
A German handgrenade as a mallet, nice 🤌

Did you give your Carvex the pin fix?
This is so cool where can I get one
It's from Festool 🙌

Festool shoes too lol
🤣🤣 Asolo shoes
What kind of wood is that it's beautiful
Looks like Fir
Mit Festool kann selbst ich das . Das Zeug ist so genial gut, dass sich der Preis trotzdem locker lohnt.
Good job
How does the track stay put on the first cut? Did you clamp it off camera?
There are non skid rubber strips on the bottom of the track
I would’ve used my crosscut sledge, stand the piece on its side and nibble out the recess. I would just need a giant crosscut sledge, a giant table saw, and a giant to do it.
I like how the camera zooms in (not for the mark) for the Festool logo lol
Why aren't you using festool hand chisels?
They gave me some?
Maybe next year?!
Is that osvac conection for vacuum on track saw?
I love just how silent your saws are.
