Eric was a member of the British Association of Paperback Collectors during its entire lifespan (1992-98) and we were in regular touch. Good to see those old newsletters have gone to a good home! (As indeed has one of my old letters!)
This is fantastic . Love his storage system😅. And his eclectic collection 😊.I am so glad some of his collection is finding a home at you 👍💯. I hope the rest , rest with some one who can appreciate it. Lots of dedication went into this collection.( As with all collectors, big or small) He must have had lots of fun collecting . And he had it catalogued .A return ?.34:51 aha, always knew you had super power( speed )😂 . Thank you ,for the take along, show and comment.😊
Thanks Sylvan, this collection was certainly something special and Eric was a master collector. I feel privileged to have just a small part and I'm sure Maurice will be selling the collection world wide over the next year or so.
What a fantastic collection and an amazing haul, especially as it's been given Rita's blessing! Where do you put it all though? My wife would have a fit if I came back with all that 🤣 Having said that, another Maurice open day in February? Yes please, I loved the last one and am looking forward to the next one. Cheers Jules, another great video. Jason.
Thanks Jason, it looks like some of the collection is heading to a storage locker quite soon🙂 incredible collection though, I've been very lucky this year. Another paperback day at Zardoz, it's a must👍
Jules, this remarkably good video is a wonderful Christmas gift and I thank you for it. Both you and the departed original owner of the collection are fine conservators of ephemera and I commend you. Amazingly robust publishing history of paperbacks in the United Kingdom's 20th century! I particularly enjoyed seeing the painted cover books, thank you for the rare opportunity and best wishes for your upcoming videos. Congratulations on your haul, the material is finding a great new home! ~~ Jim
The js very much Jim, I was pleased with how this came out and obviously delighted with the books I got myself. Eric's collection was definitely something quite special and I shall treasure the bits I secured. Maurice of Zardoz has a worldwide clientel and Eric's collection will be heading all over the world I'm sure
I think items such as the Agriculture Journal and Chemical Society Journal would be of interest to relevant musuems. I hope the family contacts musuems to see if they can be added to other collections.
The collection has been fully purchased by Maurice from Zardoz books. It'll be down to him now but he'll try and sell them first, probably as a job lot. It's actually hard to donate to museums, they are not looking for extra work....
I really appreciate your efforts! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
