Birthday book shopping trip to Hay-on-Wye + book haul

- In early February my partner and I took a few days off to go to Hay-on-Wye in Wales for a birthday book shopping trip. The Welsh 'town of books' has about 20 bookshops, and you can spend many hours there happily browsing.
I bought about 31 books, so join me for a browse around town and a book haul.

Enjoyed your video very much. Went there in 2011 to ride our tandem bicycle and visit the book shops (next time you go I recommend a ride/drive to Gospel Pass about 10 miles out of town I think). Thanks for the video from book lover in Fresno, California.

Used Folio Society books! (This American is drooling.) I think you will enjoy In Cold Blood; I certainly did. It was a Book of the Month Club offering many, many years ago and she chose it then. Gee, I just love your "Sod's Law" expression. I don't think we have an equivalent here in the U.S.
So glad you were able to fill in the blanks of your Brother Cadfael series by Ellis Peters. That must have made you incredibly happy.

In the process of checking I'd spelled Murphy correctly, I found out it's an American expression! Every day is a learning day 😁
