The new layout is absurdly useless, hiding all the videos from subscriptions and other groups to make room for a neverending stream of recommendations that no one's interested in watching, it's a total mess. It also makes even more difficult to browse for videos since the previews are absurdly big, taking huge chunks of screen, where I could see about 24 previews before, I can see only 6 to 8 thanks to this new awful layout that was forced into users with literally no warning at all.

My new layout looks nothing like this - all I get is one long list of recommend. I can't find anything. Just scrolling, and scrolling, and scrolling. Non of the content I want or asked for. They are determined to kill this platform, time to find an alternative this is too painful to use now.

When you are searching for songs to listen to on the home page it doesn't give you genre recommendations anymore. It sucks. DOES RUclips WANT TO KILL THEIR OWN APP?!

I disagree. The text is the same so its harder to pick out desired content. I see 9 videos instead of 20 - 25 at once. I'm immediately frustrated because I'm force fed listings because everything is the size and font. If you have a mind for marketing you can see why making the first 9 - 18 video scream out at you and cause a person to strain to organize the info in front of them would be influential. This isn't about consumer convenience, it about getting the consumer to see content U-tube wants you to see first. Ya know, it pretty hard to unsee something. U-tube would scribe on stone tablets if it made more money and influenced your political views.... Its a cool hand way of censorship. If you see U-tubes intended ideals first and have to search a little harder for relevant content to you own ideals, well you see. On a large scale people won't be able to see the video they conveniently bury at the bottom.

Well maybe if google didn't kill the trending tab by removing organically trending videos heavily curating it & turning it into a section for paid advertisements from videos made by companies and corporations. Trailers, music videos, news, talk shows, other tv, etcetera. Maybe if google didn't change the sidebar for videos that were originally supposed to be videos related to the video you're watching now instead of filling it up with 90%+ of even more recommended content just to get you to wrack up more youtube minutes and consume--> Maybe if google didn't mess with your search results plopping all of their "whitelisted" content on the front page making it difficult to find the actual "youtubers" when searching for trending (controversial) content. You should look at the homepage vi a 55" TV connected to a PC as a monitor. Friggin huge. I want more thumbnails, not less.
