I shaved off 6 strokes recently after watching your vlogs! On that day, I kept relating to your game plan. I like your common sense, golf strategy and humility. Insightful comments on the layouts and greens do help. Kudos to you. Looking forward to learning more from your vlogs.
I went to this course today and just watched this video after my return. You are tight that the crown grass does not give much putting break. I misread many holes all day long.
I cannot believe you are playing at my Malaysian HOME course Gen! You are such a Superstar! ❤❤❤ I'll be definitely playing here again this August once Covid has gone! So excited to see the course... it was struggling before new management took over in 2018! 😁
@@GenevieveLingGolf It was great seeing you play a course I'm used to. You made it look very easy and it certainly isn't! Slightly off line at BB and it's reload time... btw... the reason why you don't remember this course is maybe you always played the other one. 😁

Really beautiful course vlog, Gen. Cow grass looks similar to the Bermuda grass we play on in the Summer here in Arizona. It's definitely grabby stuff.
Happy new year Gen! Having played there recently off the blue tees, it was fun to see how you played your way around and managed to get a good score. I’ll keep some of your tips in mind when I play there again later this month 😊
@@GenevieveLingGolf Hey Gen. Guess what. I played there a couple of days before the lockdown and scored 10 strokes better than my previous game. Your tips were a big help 😊. The 82 I played was one of my best scores ever.
Stumbled upon you vlog looking for anything current on my favored KLPGA Tour! You got game girl! A new course a week. That's ambitious is it not! First that's a lot of coures, 2nd what are the logistics of achieving that! It you care to say of course! Either way keep it up! I will look for you on some Tour, some day! Oh! Subscribed and liked!
Well played Gen. Are those wild animals dangerous? The ball tracer is great 👍🏼 makes viewing much more appealing. Also love to keep a track of your score.
Hi Gen, your swing is so good, I am learning a lot from your vids. One question, what recording gadgets you using? Do you have any recommendation list?
you do seem to come around a bit, and are a great ambassador for golf in Malaysia (have not played there yet, but hope to that sometime and make some vlogs for my "golf & tesla" channel
do you play with a sponsor on a regular basis or low level handicapper? I think we seem to get the same person in your videos? and how do you find the difference when you play off non bermuda grass? thanks for letting us enjoy the sounds of nature on hole 15, too many of the youtubers yack too much...you have a good tone and give us enough information...I miss the sounds of those (exotic to us in america) birds/animals since we lost the Australian tour this year
Hi Gen your hands and eyes coordination seems remarkable to me so I got to asked you: In order to keep your head still at the impact zone are you specifically looking at your intended direction of the 4 inches of club head blurring post impact from from your ball? Cheers
Happy New Year Gen. Great start to 2022 vlogs. Just a quick question - how do Malaysian courses compare to those in China or Korea tours - main differences and how do you prepare ?
Look at you living in the future 😂 Hahaha, they are very different. Even from Taiwan to China, the courses in every country have their own characteristics. The hardest thing to practice is the wind factor because we don't get much in Malaysia. When we are on tour, it's nice because once we get the season started, we are able to consistently get used to those courses but now, all we can do is improve our game and then try to adapt it to other courses when we get a chance to play again!
Are you planning on doing the 15 days quarantine or hoping for the old 30 tourist visa to come back? I'm hoping that the entry rules are relaxed back to normal in a few months.
@@stewartsharpe9258 I'm hoping on one month earlier. If not it will have to wait another year. The golf courses will still be there when we get the chance. Fingers crossed for both of us.
Happy new year Genevieve!!!! You look gorgeous and play this amazing in regulation golf. What is your overall stats for fairways hit GIR and putts per round. Do you use your stats to determine what you practice?
Haha they use them to put their clubs for like inside 100y so that when there aren't caddies, they can carry a bunch of clubs and it saves time from having to go back and forth! They're actually really smart if you ask me 😄
Hi, great fan of all of your content! I think i see something in ur putting stroke and recurring pattern of missing to the left. I think u r pulling ur short putts. Takeaway is too much outside the line therefore tendency to stoke out to in with a square face to path. I think u commentate that there wasnt enough break but i think ur stroke may be letting u down esp on the short putts. Even those that go in, they r going in from the left side of the hole. Would do takeaway just like normal iron, which is inside the line. Hope this at least triggers a question in ur mind about putting stroke and potentially makes improvement! Again, big fan and please continue the great work!
Question Gen I think your a great golfer and think you have a fantastic swing nice and easy, but on the par 3 160yrds you play a 7 iron you were short I notice that quite a bit and wonder why you didn’t play a 6 iron on that whole but in general your always a bit short great shots by the way always on target is there a reason for this.
The monkey grass in Thailand is broad leaf, as thick as your finger and that stuff is impossible to get a 5 or 6 iron through it. Even a hybrid is no good. Got to take 8 iron or less when you get in it. It's horrible.
@@GenevieveLingGolf It takes me 2 rounds to learn how to chip again and I lay back on par 5's so I don't get 40 yard pitches. As the ground is soft it's so easy to hit it fat. But that is the fun for me - trying to figure out how the club interacts with the soil.
