  • If you want to practice your Korean Listening skills, watch this video.
You will listen to each dialogue 4 times.
    1. Just audio without text
Try not to panic, concentrate and just listen and understand what is being said.
    2. Audio + text
Listen to audio and look at text in Korean.
Look at the text and check if you understood the speech correctly when you listened to it for the first time.
Also, if you are in doubt whether you have read or heard the audio correctly, you can check it in the Latin text on the right side.
(I am not using the standard romanization rules because instead of making it easier to learn and understand Korean, they are rather confusing.)
    3. Audio + text in Korean + text in English
Here you can check if you understood correctly what it is about.
    4. Audio without text
Listen to the text again, don't look anywhere, concentrate. The audio speed is slightly faster here.
If you liked this video, tell me in the comments, and I will try to make more such videos.
Also, if there is something I can improve, I would be glad if you share your thoughts.
    Good luck! :)

Thank you so much, my vocab is good but my listening has been lacking. I could understand half of everything in the first step because i still missed some details but then reading the transcript helped a lot and filled in all my blanks. I think the steps you are using is perfect so it doesn't give all the meaning right away. Thank you, very helpful

@@merlylopez7177 idk exactly how to advise you but what i personally did was start by studying grammar rules and surrounding myself with vocab. I also made sure to always ALWAYS interact with the language in some way. So every single day, depending on how much free time i have, i either watch a grammar lesson or read my fav kpop lyrics or just korean language games or 1 grammar lesson a day. As long as i read at least one thing in korean everyday!
I think what helped me most was studying grammar really hard for a period of time but after that reading and watching content that shows me examples of the lessons i learned, kdramas and kpop were a big influence because i could easily access them to learn the language. As long as you enjoy the process you won't give up. It's my second year learning it, I'm still intermediate and I'm lacking in vocab but because i always made sure to keep it fun, i can now understand songs on my first listen, and sometimes i don't even read subtitles while watching movies and i still understand. It's all about how much effort you put in. You could reach my level in half a year if you study hard or you could do it at your own pace and you'll find out yourself where you'll be in 2 years. Good luck
