They were a very difficult band to pigeonhole to just one genre. If you listen to Joyride a few are evidenced. Someone will probably kill me for saying this but there are some metal elements in it. The guitars are particularly heavy at times
Per and Marie's guitars were there more as props because you don't hear either of them actually play. That doesn't mean that they cannot play though, the unplugged performance shows that both of them were actually pretty good. But I do understand why they have the guitars there, they probably feel awkward if not having a guitar strapped on, Barry Gibb from the BeeGees and Andrew Ridgeley from WHAM! brandished guitars on stage for that same reason.
Correct. They don't play. This performance requires more skill than they have I think. It's actully a quite skilled and steady perfomance and I don't think Per is that kind of muscian live wich is ironic given that he wrote the music. But it goes to show that being able to compose well and play well are not entirely the same thing.

hey there, anyone been to the concert last Sunday 12-5-2011 in Frankfurt? i had to leave at 10:30 to catch the plane from Dusseldorf... i paid triple amount for this concert, me and my sister and due to my mistake we had to leave at 10:30. when did they finish? we were running to catch the train while they were singing. it was awful

Have yet to hear the covers you've recorded. I tend to stick with one sound and it tends to work with everything. The only thing I do is alter the gain setting on my pedal depending on surroundings. I prefer an overdrive rather than Distortion sound when I play. The high end gets lost when I set my pedal to distortion
