I’m 31, and feel like I got a taste of living in the 80s because of my mom and dad, and my uncle. I’d give anything to have been lucky enough to grow up the way they did. Life truly was different in the 80s and 90s. There was such a magic and hope to everything. It’s like people have just given up caring about anything in today’s world, no matter what area of life. No one’s saying it was perfect, but you can hear in songs like this that little gleam of excitement for life.

Really broke away from their parents in so many ways. I know there were early innovators before them, but it seems the 60s really pushed ahead.

I'm 19 years old but for 4 years I've been listening to this music, asking my uncle, my brother and my brother's friend since they are rock fans. But it was difficult to find this music, I had to search for it on the Google Sing microphone and I found the good music!!🤙💿🎙️

I am right now, this song is just as good today as. It was then.
I was 10 years old when this song blew up. And boy did it. This song should be the first definition behind 'staying power' because it's immediately catchy and infectious the more times you listen to it. It's one of those songs that when it comes on, you leave your radio on the station until it's over. Absolutely wonderful song!

I've lived through the 50's ,60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, '00's, teen's and more. The 80's was the most fun, innovative music. I listen to everything but when I want to feel really good I turn to the 80's...
Decade during 1970-2000s times also were gold and pure as 80s
so, since i lived through the 70's onward, does it mean i didn't miss anything relevant? :-)

@@ayadav77 I was an 80s teen and it was fun and so varied. But the 60s were truly innovative. Society and music really started to change. They weren’t following, they were leading. Really broke away from their parents in so many ways. I know there were early innovators before them, but it seems the 60s really pushed ahead.
