I agree with the take on George Paton. Despite the Russell Wilson misfire, Paton is a very capable manager. We are lucky to have him. The draft will be key to rebuild the Broncos and Paton excels in the draft. The Denver scout team is also first rate. Also, it appears the new coach Sean Payton and George Paton work together very smoothly. I wish fans would ease up on the George Paton hate.
We have to remember Franklin is a 21 year old kid and dealing with the Denver media for the first time. TD even struggled his rookie season and almost quit the team…but could not get a flight home from Japan and he played a critical role helping John getting his two rings.
Javonte will be the #1 RB on the roster, starting this season. He may lose his job later in the season, but he will be the starter for the season opener.

I'd give more credit to Vic Fangio's staff for the 2021 draft than Paton after seeing how much of a disaster his 2022 and 2023 drafts have been.
