A small correct ion to Laurie Bird commentary. It was not the only movie she play. Three years later she had small role in drama "Cockfighter" and also some small episode in "Annie Hall" she had something special in Her. RIP.

7:50 I came here because The Happy Fits, one of the best Indie bands around now, covered Disco - sorry, never heard of Surf Curse before - but when Nick pulls out LPs from Prefab Sprout I knew I was watching the right band. Loved it!!
BTW, these guys have an impressive knowledge of the Arts and culture background, full of references they relate to each other - from movies to music and then back to movies
Saw these guys in El Paso, Texas in January, and it was fucking epic. They even mentioned the fact that the venue is right below an actual Domino's, and got to be really close to Nick when he climbed to the second level of the venue during Disco. Just amazing. I had to leave kind of early and said goodbye to my friends and then, about half an hour later, they got to chat with them but I didn't. Talk about BAD luck.

Two lane blacktop is a film that sticks with you... I just looked the actrice up and she actually killed herself very young.. which is so sad, I remember her from this film from when I watched it as a teen because she had this amazing fluffy bag in it... very cool
They said they wanna make songs that pick up an emotion. My first song I heard by them was televisions by current joys and was like a religious experience.
I fucking freaked out when I saw them in my town outside of meow wolf, I'm pretty sure they remember me as a kid who got too excited to meet them, but only if they knew how much their music helped during a really dark time.
