This band not only put out one of the best albums of the year but also it turns out they have an incredible musical taste

For as young as these girls appear they have some great taste in music. I’ve not heard of many of these groups but every song you’ve sampled is great.
Horsegirl is my favorite band of the moment and it makes so much sense why i dig their sound since they have such excellent influences who i had already loved! they're the best and i hope more people discover them!

Another new band for me to check out, on top of their incredible picks. Not to mention, they're just starting college! The Alice Coltrane & Pharoah Saunders pick being particularly timely, with the saxophonist passing away just a few days before this aired.
It's so refreshing to see such young ladies listening to so much experimental music & to be creating such great music too... The future looks bright for these ladies!
What a pleasant surprise to find the band who released one of my fav albums of 2022 also love a lot of my other fav albums, the little Deerhoof fan moment! Absolute blast.
Saw Horsegirl in NYC when they opened for BCNR. Most insane double bill ever. Had no idea who they were before but they brought the house down with crazy energy and made me an instant fan. Couldn’t stop dancing during their opening set, can’t wait to see them again!

They have great taste. Don’t know their music, but if their tastes are any indication…They likely rule. Will have to check them out.
Sad thing. Anton, the drummer, on Crazy Rhythms, died a week ago. After that first Feelies record he went on to play with a wide variety of musicians and had his own project The Golden Palominos. He was super talented, funny, and a little intense.
Incredible debut album
Really liked how they seemed genuinely enthusiastic about the music. Hope they can keep doing their thing for as long as they want.
So not only are they all very talented, but they are highlighting some very cool older stuff here.
FINALLY SOMEONE ON HERE PICKS UNWOUND!!! I thought their taste was good before! Unwound is one of the greatest bands ever...thats just science.
It felt a bit odd as a 66 year old liking this band as much as I do. Then I saw them buying albums that I bought in high school, and it no longer feels odd at all.

When the Clinic EP collection was revealed, I swooned the most since Jason Mantzoukas said Loveless was his favorite album. Love when great bands have great tastes.

Wow! Blown away by their passion and appetite for music! Some of these artists I don't know but from the other ones they picked I'm sure I'd most likely enjoy them too so I'll check them out. The future's in good hands here.

Saw them at Third Man Detroit last week. They tore it up, and Gigi resurrected the spirits of Art Blakey, Ginger Baker, Max Roach, & Keith moon. She is terrific.

versions of modern performance was a favorite of mine last year. i just saw them open for the breeders two nights in a row and love it even more. they are too cool.

I am old, and this is the only new band I like. They are fantastic
If you like them, check out Soccer Mommy, Wet Leg, the Linda Lindas, Hater, Lucy Dacus, the Beths, Alvvays, Snail Mail, Thus Love and Weyes Blood for starters. I’m sure some of it will click with you.
