- Kmart Closing In Bridgeville, Pa Update #2. Wait until you see the goodies I snagged tonight! Had to add music into this video as I was shopping while filming and needed to use a cart. The wheels made it very loud so I had to adjust the volume from the video and try to balance it out with some music from Kmart Radio as well as Waterfront Dining.

Another great Kmart video by the way and great job! I miss our old Kmart store here up in Northern Michigan and now it's a Toyota dealership. All we have here in downtown Cadillac now for big chain stores is a Wal-Mart Supercenter and a Meijer. We never had a Target and we also had an Ames at one time and also a ("Big Lots" store) which went out of business nearly the same year as this Kmart in this video did. The Big Lots building is still there with the label scars on it and so far nothing's happened with Big Lots as of yet. I'm not sure if Big Lots is making a comeback to Cadillac, if that building will be repurposed as something else or I'll be demolished. It would be very awesome and nice to check it before too long as I'm not really much brave enough to document the abandoned building by myself.

ThresholdDreamer111 thank you! You know I put the music in because of the shopping cart. I was shopping while I was filming and the sound of the wheels was enough to give someone a migraine. LOL so I thought I'd add some old Kmart Radio music and like you said... some good old vaporwave music. I love listening to vaporwave and it's many thanks to my good friend, Anthony, from Aces Adventures who got me addicted to Waterfront Dining. Lol

The hiring sign made me laugh, ironically. Are they working there just till the store closes or going to other Kmarts? Great video. Guess you could not do a fitting room selfie. :) LIke the touch of the old Kmart in store announcements in your video. I miss Little Caesars in Kmarts... honestly a childhood memory, there was a Big K in Saratoga Springs NY, and that's where I remember the majority of my family did shopping when I was younger- and I vividly remember going into the restaurant and not so much getting pizza (even though I'm sure I've had pizza there?) but getting a blue Icee before we went shopping.
Oddly enough the Kmart I go to, dosen't have a Little Caesars BUT right up the road, like 30 seconds up the road, is a Little Caesars and it's almost tradition for my boyfriend and I to get some Little Caesars before we go to the Kmart.
Funny how they had that 'Do not Liquidate' sticker on the employee call box. :P

I will miss K-Mart once it leaves Bridgeville this Spring.
I was just at my local Kmart, which isn’t closing. It was also somewhat busy. I mean
it had life, like it wasn’t just the music, there were voices of other people. But it was understaffed.

The kmart near me is on the edge of getting the ax the pharmacy recently closed down and the parking lot is always empty wont be too long until it gone for good

My boyfriend and his mother went there a few weeks or so ago and he told me they still got a lot stuff on the sales floor. Well it won't be long. So sad.

Super video! I am liking this Kmart update series and the previous update series. In Northern Michigan the only Kmart I know of that is still open and NOT on the closure list is in my grandmothers home town. My Kmart closed in the early 2000s and became a Toyota and Ford/Lincoln dealership in the later 2000s. Where did you get Kmart Radio songs from? I liked the song where the dude is singing on and the opening riff reminded me of some videos that I heard on “This Is Dan Bell.”
I keep looking out for one of the Pickle Cat shirts... must have one! I also would love a checkout lane light, and a blue light... like everyone else apparently 😂
Amazon is one reason these stores and companies are failing but it’s also too much competition from other retailers and not enough customers wanting to shop in the stores.
Excellent Video as always Wallie. I enjoy these updates and sad to see these kmarts go. My local store closed this past September 2017 and I still drive past the location and I would see whats inside but its in a plaza thats pretty busy. I may do a video there one day

the one part of the sign thats missing is the little pizza man with the round pizza backround and the stick with the 2 pizzas on it. that would complete the sign.
I found out that once a store is told it will close that the company sends in a ton of extra stuff to sell in the store because they know people will come out in numbers for a store closing sale knowing that stuff will be marked down. I saw a video somewhere on RUclips that was taken when the managers of the store found out it was closing.

Kmart should have taken all the money they threw into Sears and invested in themselves to upgrade their locations. It blows my mind why a business that should be thriving in today’s economy just lets itself deteriorate. Soon enough the US is going to end up like Canada and have no other option than Walmart.
