You’re so right about the height thing. As much as I liked Emily and Ezrela… if one of them would’ve made the group they would’ve looked a little mismatched which is not a good thing if you want to become famous as a GROUP. As silly as that sounds and as much as we like to make ourselves believe that talent is the only thing that matters in these kind of survival shows we understand how much of a factor just overall matching energy and vibes as well as visual harmony is so important too. You can’t just throw any people in a group and expect it to work. The best example is New Jeans for sure. All 5 members have the same fresh youthful it girl vibe and total visual harmony and we all know how well their image is marketed and how successful they are.
That's interesting bc I thought Manon had the least synergystic energy (thereby "mismatched") with the rest of the final lineup. Heck, even after the 2nd mission result video, only 1 contestant included Manon in the final lineup.
At first KATSEYE group name was kinda meh~ but comparing to other group names recently.. it's not that bad..❤
As much as I like the VCHA girls, it’s way better than VCHA and I’ll take Katseye lol

You know, it suddenly just hit me like a few seconds ago. At first, I was also kinda confused with the name. But the more I look into it, the more it grows on me.
"Cat Eyes" is probably what they're going for.
But it's too simple and straightforward, so they changed it to K and flipped the word "eyes" to "seye".
So instead of reading it as Cat Eyes. We read eyes backwards with K "Katseye".
But if I am right, it still doesn't feel right that they went with K.
Cause "Catseye" I feel is much more cohesive and looks cooler too!
I think they're going for Cat's Eye like the gem that stands for luckiness and warding off evil but it's also a play on words with a Cat Eye like as in the makeup style and fashion and Cats being fierce. I think the reason they changed K from C is one because of marketing purposes (Search engine optimization - very important to a new group, so people can easily search them and they will show up first on Google and not the Cat's Eye gem or the actual Cats' Eye but I think it also hints at their Korean system training, like K-pop, K-food, etc. Not to mention, in korean it sounds like Catch Eye, as they are eye-catching and will catch your attention. This is a personal analysis and not canon! Hope we learn about it more officially in the future.

I’m kinda disappointed with manon tho if samara didn’t have that controversy she would’ve been perfect. And manon seemed so expectant of getting in at the end it was kinda weird and her speech didn’t really do much either
I didn't understand how that girl Samara couldn't get in, she is definitely talented to be in this group, but it seems like she wasn't tall enough to fit into the defined standard...
