Yes foiling with a selfi stick is such a pain, it not only harder to start but also it ruins the balance having a 3m stick in one hand
Did you consider self following drones like Skydio ?
I would love to get one but drones of any kind are illegal here in Oman😢

I haven't found one available to buy that meets the requirements needed to film foiling so all of my gopro stocks are home made 🤣
Have you tried a backpack type mount? That's what www.youtube.com/@Wing-Tips seems to use.
Hey Dominic can u check out alchemy universal fuses and do a video on that, it seems like in the future lots of options will be available for gear interchangeability🤓🤓🤓

What did you use to mount to the board?
I used screws to secure the pole directly onto the footstrap inserts
