I really like the recognition I get when I use my American Express Card at the automated ordering at Mc Donald’s.

Do any of you guys know if have premium cards for banks gives your a better chance of getting a better loan or mortgage with less interest? I thought because of the status of both my cards (I have amex plat for business and chase sapphire reserve for personal at 21) that in the long run it'd help me somehow with my overall credit history from both parties and that It'd be good overall in the future for financing for buying a house , etc... any feedbacks?

I freaking loved this! I’m only 21 and my friends and siblings think it’s so weird that I’m into credit and finances at my age!
When I found your channel I had a 650 credit score and the capital one secured card with a credit line of $200 only. I found your channel over a year ago and in that year I rose my credit score to 745 got approved for a Navy Federal Cash back card, a discover it card, and just got my first American Express card invitation! I also now have a $20k credit line! I’d recommend your channel to anyone who’s starting out!

Very well made historical and current video! Keep up the great work! Been a green card member since the 1980s and then gold member since the 2000's. Currently just got upgraded to the platinum and love the benefits - already paid for the $550 annual fee by taking a trip to Asia, getting 5x points worth $800, $200 Uber credit, $200 airline credit, and $100 Global Entry/TSA card. Within a week we got to visit 4 airport lounges (XMN, ICN, GMP, NRT) and love them now - wondered how we did without airport lounges!

Don't take what Credit Karma says seriously at all. They're advertising those cards to make money.
According to Credit Karma, I have virtually no chance at getting any cards from American Express, even though I was approved for three of them (Platinum, HHonors, BCE) over the course of the time it said I have a low chance.
Then once it told me I had a very high chance at the Citi Double Cash, and I got rejected.
Also remember, the Platinum has the same credit requirements as the Green, it just has more benefits and a higher AF. It's really not a hard card to get as long as:
      1) You have good-excellent credit
      2) Don't miss payments
      3) Haven't burned Amex in the past
Amex is pretty lenient with thin credit files as well, so as long as you have a few months of 100% on-time payments, you should be approved. Check their pre-approval tool on their site, it's practically 100% accurate.
The Platinum was my second card ever. I was an AU on my parents' 20 year old card and I had my own 4 month old BofA Cash Rewards card, 18 yo with a 15k income.
It's my favorite card by far. The perks pay for itself, plus it's metal! Good luck!

I love this! I already knew some of the history, however, you close a lot of gaps for me with this. I didn't know that Diner's Club was first--I thought AMX was... You should do one on Diner's Club, and please keep this up--great idea dude. In addition, I would love to see something on just how debt cards work (network, fees, etc...), along with when, how and who started the product. Thanks dude, can't wait to see another video.

A lot of people are not financially stable this period and it's not easy, I always advise people, don't just waste your stimulus checks or salary, invest it in something that will yield more, even if it is a part of it. We can't keep relying on a paycheck that is already half-spent before we even receive it, there are investment opportunities that have helped a lot of people especially in the financial market. Having different streams of income is essential in this pandemic, especially now most of us have to earn and work from home. I've made impressive progress so far this year and it has helped me sort out a lot of bills and I do that through a registered investment company.
