From bonkers pre-war specials to BMW 3.0 CSLs | Goodwood Masters

Most historic motoring companies focus on just what they are good at. Some on just GT racers or smaller touring cars. Some are so specialised they only focus on one particular brand or model, like Eagle with Jaguar.
Blakeney Motorsport on the other hand, don't let such divisions get involved in their business. The company, founded by the charismatic historic racer Patrick Blakeney-Edwards, will look after and maintain almost everything you could possibly want to race. Its workshop contains cars as varied as vintage cars including the Frazer-Nash Owlet and Austin 7 to '70s touring car legends like the BMW 3.0 CSL Batmobile or even super-fast sportscars like the stunning Lister-Jaguar "Costin" Coupe.
In the latest episode of our Goodwood Masters presented by Motul series,looking at the people and firms behind some of the classic car industry's greatest machines, we visited the home of Blakeney motorsport to find out just what makes the company tick.
