In this team there are two great tandems. Akane and Kanami are perhaps the best in their domains. They ideally complement each other in guitar solos. The second tandem is vocals and lyrics writers Saiki and Miku. Last songs opened a new avenue in their development. They perfectly synchronous in these songs. And these two tandems are glued by the assassin Misa. A perfect group. It’s not only instrumental talents. It’s even more songwriting. There are no bad songs. Even Beatles has quite a few average songs. The level of Band Maid is never below good. Add to this monsters like Puzzle, Onset, Moratorium, Take me higher, secret my lips, No God, Black hole, Corallium, Hibana, Manners, Bubble and of course Blloming. Did I miss something? Surely I did. Alone, Clang, …. And many more. Each ranking of fans is very different.
The Beatles were once my favorite band. What you said is perfectly true, and Band-Maid are above and beyond The Beatles as musicians and songwriters IMHO.
Of course I know, but when I see them like this, I find it hard to believe that they are one of the greatest rock bands ever. So completely down to earth, close to the fans, kind-hearted, playful, friendly. I don't know many artists of that caliber and I hope that never changes with them. Sign of greatness, Akane is one of the best drummers there is, but still find herself lacking and want to perfect what she is not happy with. Great mindset that will make her even better as time goes by and she get to practice away her minor flaws.
Miku says: Akane can be "a gorilla who gives a helping banana". That one cracked me up so much I almost fell out of my chair LOL :-) I love Band-Maid all of them, they are so funny.
