Hey Shane , we lots if rain too. Ryan Hall was saying the hurricane was gonna fling the water east, and it sure did! The Lake looks happy🎉. Have a nice weekend🌞. JO JO IN VT 💞
Glad you’re OK and all worked out well for you, not quite as well served with that hurricane down here in south west coast Florida, but we made it through it again. Looking forward to seeing the house finished
I'm so glad ya'll are are ok. I've been watching and praying for all the people along the east coast. Wow thats a chunk of money to save on just scraping a walkway. Can you send some rain this way, its so dry here. Our power goes ouf all the time as well l have a solar phone charger with 2 ports so at least l have one light that has the usb cord and l can charge one phone at a time. I have propane that heats my hvac, oven and stove so l can also eat, l have one freezer l keep containers of frozen 1 gal water bottles to keep the fridge cold for a long time and l can open it and get food out. Sorry about you losing your fish down the stream but yeah for a full pond. Im so glad you had mimnual loss in storm damage.
I am really glad you made it through the hurricane. I live in Tallahassee FL and the east side of the city had tree damage and we all lost power late in the evening to after 2 am. At least that is when we lost ours and got ours back at 10:30 this morning. Very thankful that 9 states sent their linemen to help all of us out on this side. I really feel bad for those on the east side towns because this was their third hurricane and a tornado in 13 months. Wowzers that pond! Oh and from the weather maps I have been seeing there is another coming just not sure on which direction as of yet.
My son was working about 45 miles from Tallahassee, but was able to leave Thurs night and head home to Alabama. Still raining here in Tenn. My pond is filling up too
Midlands SC no lights since 4 am. 4 1/2 inch of rain thurs have not checked today. Wind torn up pecan tree but still standing. Prayers for all in path.
Kinfolk work is never done! I'm glad you are okay after the nasty hurricane, lots of damage was done. Have you ever thought of putting in a skylight in the ceiling of your living room? Or kitchen? Have a great weekend!
Glad yall made it through okay, looks like it just skirted you. We had no power or water for 5 days, some areas around us got hit very hard. Smooth work with the little JD, you should tell him you'll help with his next place for that price.
Glad all is well there. That over flow over the pond dam would have me worried. Does it not have an over flow built into it? The pups sure enjoyed their romp. Hopefully power is restored soon and things can get back to normal. Hope all of your kids places are ok as well.
Glad that you made it out ok. Put in a generator in your new house or at least have it wired for it so you don't have to be without power. Might not have ac but at least lights and water for showers and toilet.
Ha! You siad "the times changed" and I immediately looked at my calendar thinking I'd missed more than a month of my lofe..............then it dawned on me what you were referring to. Yeah, I get lost doing that mental calculation of what time does it get almost dark now?, I don't drive after dark thirty anymore.
So glad you made it through with little issues. 👏

Nope just that little run off spot
No damage here either. 5.5" of rain, 35 mph winds, and that's about it. I had the same "damage."
Glad yall are ok. Im North of you guys and I think my raised beds all drowned😂 Chickens are good and no trees down this time🤞
