    Steering feedback is about how the steering communicates the vehicles attitude to you. For example, the VW Polo has very low feedback, if you're on the limit of grip or just cruising along, it feels the same. The Fiat Linea/Punto had excellent feedback, you knew exactly what the vehicle was doing because the steering was communicative.

    • @the_wind_walker
      @the_wind_walker 2 года назад +1

      That's what I thought when he said feedback

    • @prabudhshetty5689
      @prabudhshetty5689 Год назад +1

      I don't think there are many other cars these days that give feedback like Punto/Linea because Fiats have had hydraulic steering, I don't think except for a few high end sports cars no other cars get hydraulic steering these days.

    Thanks to RUclips for listing your video in my recommendation list😅
    Although I enjoy and get inspired by your driving, it looks really scary .
    Today morning I employed your hacks for being little dominant and it worked. Previously I used to be in a dilemma whether to allow the other person or should make a move. But now there is so much clarity, once my judgment says it’s me then I don’t hesitate.
    I need to work on my parking though, today morning I tried parallel parking but it was not to my satisfaction.
    Ps: I had swift Vxi from 2011 to 2018

    Another great video from you. I've watched DDS & then with some great British driving school channels as they drive on same side as we do.
    But your content is different.
    Sometimes we can't follow all the rules considering Indian driving conditions & home-made drivers on other side then your approach helps me a lot.
    You tell us what we should do in Indian driving conditions to be safe for us & others which is really awesome 👍
    Hope to see many more videos in this pro level driving series.

    You can try pull-push method too as an alternative to single-hand operation.
    It's a good way for faster rotation of steering wheel.
    & vehicle controls better via this way.

    I think by 'auto rotation' you mean, self centering. And not all steering systems have that in India. Alto, Celerio, Wagon R, Magnite and Kiger doesn't have that. So if you leave the steering wheel after taking a u turn, you keep turning.

    At 13:12 to 13:18, when he rotated his car in such confined space, I thought the car front will hit the wall. It happened with my car, I was making u-turn and my car bottom left side hit the wall and made scratches. How did he rotate so nicely without worrying much, I don't understand? Maybe I will get it after more practice 🙂.

    Steering wheel hand grip position should always be 9 and 3 o clock. Any other position you will get serious injury when airbag opens!
    This position will ensure airbag wont damage or fracture your hand bones while opening. Any other position will obstruct it while opening and will definitely injure your hands. Always follow 9 and 3 position.

    10-2 driving will take away both the arms in case air bag is deployed....if both hands are absolutely needed then 9-3 is going to save most of the hand..... except the thumbs though...

    High speed top lane driving use 11 - 3 hold. A little lesser speed leisure driving in mid lane single hand use 5 O'clock hold. For High speed braking keep you body stiff and hands light on steering wheel. Practice left hand control of steering wheel so that if right hand slips then your brain in programmed to use left hand correctly. Try to use thumb and fingers as hook in case hand slips from steering wheel and apply brakes. Foot should never be on race while making a turn unless you are very slow. If your hands are over sweating and you are an enthusiast of High speed then wear gloves as you have seen in formulae one and rally races.

    My friend
    You took a U turn around @ 3:00
    My Teacher/Trainer had said that, turning the car in that way is not convenient and if we make a Habit of it... Can be is risky in certain conditions coz we can't predict when, what's gonna happen all of the Sudden...
    what iff you have to make a sharp bend/turn ...!!
    That road was wide highway, if it was a narrow road, That way you wouldn't make it at one Go.
    And this won't work in a harpin bend too...
    Coz your hand gets locked and you won't be able to turn the steering further...
    (You started turning from 1 and ended at 11)
    Everyone is a Heavy Driver
    Don't get offended please.
    Drive Safely All

    I prefer one handed drive most of the time. My average speed most of the time remains at 80 KM/h while driving on Highway and 40 -50 KM/h while driving in the City.

    Does Driving on higher RPMS on second gear harm the engine 🤔
    And how ?

    • @naarayanu3700
      @naarayanu3700 2 года назад +7

      It gives pickup, but you will get engine damage and even piston and valve breakage if done continuously.

      Less gears mean more torque(power) and less speed as to get more torque the revs of engine is shortened to less spins for more torque( you will understand if you know how gears work) and high gears have high speed but less torque. So when you drive on low gears you are using unnecessary power(when low gears are not necessary) and if you are speeding in low gears you are putting the engine to heavy work (more revs to match the speed)and also fuel consumption increases. High gears is good when your vehicle is moving at a gud speed and which will also decrease and save fuel consumption.

    You should drive slow on such roads because people can come out of their houses at any time. The car should not be turned so quickly, the pedestrians on the edges should be given some time to see that a car is turning towards them. Just suggesting to avoid accidents.
    He is worried that if he turns the car fast then his car may get damaged, but not about the pedestrians. Such drivers are a headache on the streets for other drivers. Safety first, style second.
    Just noticed that he is probably driving wrong way or is the other vehicle driving in the wrong direction?

    8 N 4 is the best hand position in case you need airbag(do not underestimate the power of airbag), people who've started driving before airbags uses 11 N 1 position like my dad, mom, uncle in short older generations.
