If your roommates, workmates, friends are Americans your accent will change whether you like it or not! Especially if your job entails talking to people. “Keeping” an accent isn’t the key indication of being down to earth. Most older people have a hard time changing their accents even if they tried. Younger people can easily adapt. Let people change their accents if they want, wakenya back home mnakuanga na mambo mob sana smh
