It's in the later chapters that this all changes. Also, I heard that all of what we've seen is part 1 of Chainsaw Man with a part 2 at a later date
@ it is still better than jc staff which took 12 projects with 190+ staff only in a year compared to mappa and they produced all of it in a very small time and cloverwork overworked their employees to hospital and it's true

I love the amazing details that went to the storyboarding of this. The choice of colors; Denji sees the world as gray and lifeless but when his " friends" came to the picture a warm color is implemented but then when they all *spoiler* died it returned back to grey showing his feelings. wow
Denji's expressions when he met his friends were just... pityfull. The way you drew the expressions were incredible, it really showed how guilty he were when he discovered a piece of his past that he locked away so he could keep living (Spoilers).

Also this ed and Denji’s expressions really just tell a sort of happy ending to the Chainsaw story with how Denji just obsesses about Makima but he then takes the time to look at the others around him and he feels conflicted but accepted by them and he kind of diverts his mind and moves on.

So, I can say that this ending looks great and clean, but then i found out that it's chainsaw man, and whole idea of sad ending with funky music in CHAINSAW MAN creating a dissonance. It's not an tokyo ghoul or kind of. Even with sad story of protagonist and a lot of bad things that happened thought all of manga it wont fit in chainsaw man style. Even Power looks not like Power, but like an random anime female protagonist without any specification, like she could do something strange, like jump on someone, or kind of. But it's still fine and clean. Visual part of it is great, nothing more to say. And yes you an author and you can make whatever you want, thanks for this good fan ending. :)

I genuinely like this fanmade trailer, I like the symbolism of the lollipop which symbolizes the first indirect kiss of denji and makima which he will never forget and also in the end where he looked at his friends and looked into the sky then looked again and he suddenly is walking in a graveyard emphasizing that his friends are not in the same world as him anymore.
Imagine if Co shu Nie work on the intro and keina Suda work on the ending ...I can definitely see CHAINSAW MAN having the best OPENING AND ENDING REWARD
