Good report again Aaron, we didn’t play well at all and hibs still couldn’t beat us so not all bad news. The pen we got was never a pen which makes it all the sweeter as it’s against them. Shankland showed great composure and restraint standing there as the morons in green pelted him with various objects before he stuck it away. We’ll miss him when he goes.

As always Aaron…always very honest in your opinions….. you were right when you say that you were second best on the night….If Hibs could convert their chances it was a bit of thumping… The Jam tarts will get third..not doubt about that but were certainly not at their best in this one……

Along with Footy Adventures, I always enjoy your videos as a general neutral viewer of Scottish football. My thoughts - Hibs were the better team on the night but they seem to have an inability to convert their chances when on top. That Bill Foley investment they are going to be getting now could be key as have to admit, the early signs of what I have seen so far from what that investment could bring in, in terms of the standard of player - Maolida, Marcondes, Moriah-Welsh certainly looks promising. The new signings have raised the bar at Hibs and a big improvement to how they performed in the last Edinburgh derby in December. Hearts for me have the bigger summer ahead as Shankland will no doubt be away and I don't know where Hearts would be without him this season (he has contributed to 53% of the Hearts goals this season, earning Hearts 29 of their 52 accumulated league points tally). It reminds me of when Griffiths was at Hibs 2013. He carried them that season and when he left, it was evident how much they missed his goals and subsequently got relegated that following season. I don't think that is going to happen to Hearts (releagtion) but that European group stage money will need to be spent wisely to find a more than capable replacement for him as I don't see any player in this present Hearts team that can score as consistently as Shankland has.
