- Is Hydra Bob the worst Marvel Snap card ever? He's definitely one of the least hyped card ever, but I made this really fun Moon Move list that worked much better than I expected!

Power Estimate: I had a good 11-6 run with this deck, but it is early in the season and I did have a few bot games bolstering those numbers. I really doubt this list is actually going to be viable, and I know that it's not optimized, but it was just good enough to give me some hope for Hydra Bob, and made me believe Moon Girl and She-Hulk might be underutilized these days.

This card is the only way well see Regis getting 8 cubes
They changed him just to force Regis to snap in a video.
I saw Bob only twice, and both times he was generated by my opponent's Arishem

I’ve seen him once I laughed, and then immediately loki’d him away the next turn
I wish I had Arishem so bad for this exact reason. Just getting to use so many cards that I would never get to use otherwise

I got it from ariahem and it moving last turn when my opponent snapped cost me the game

The fact that THIS is a SERIES 5 card is definitive proof for me that Series 4 cards on release are no longer a thing

its a sad state of the game that this didn't come out the gate as a series 4 card its not a series 5 quality card by any measure
Seriously.. every card coming series 5 is just crazy.
My take on it is that series should be based on newness, not on quality. Otherwise you're asking for pay to win. I would be fine with all new cards being series 5 if old cards were getting a corresponding series drop.

Just dropped 45 power on the final turn- moved Nocturne and turned on Project Pegasus, Moon Girl copied Miles, She-Hulk, Martyr and then I drew Zero.
Also I subbed in Hulkbuster for USAgent.

There is no synergies with him. Kraven still the the only one. In spider season there are only cards that move, but not ones that benefit from other Move, like Kraven

I had my Arishem generate a Bob today. After sitting on Muir island, he got up to 9 power. Him moving when I snapped nearly lost me that game. His old lane I barely won, his new lane I lost badly. Thankfully I had the 3rd lane locked down

Going off hydra Bob how would you feel about other cards that go off of snapping. Like a card that has power equal to the cubes that are wagered???

How do I get enough tokens to buy cards? I'm mainly f2p apart from getting the battle passes, but I rarely get them from rewards and when I do it's very little. Feels like I'm sometimes taken many months to get a single card from them.
They made getting new cards as miserable as possible.. well it's a mobile game so im not sure why people are surprised by scummy monetization. Not defending it just saying
You really have to spend $$$ to get tokens quickly. I’m f2p and I use gold to buy variants after you get 10 you get tokens even then it takes forever. I also use the spotlight cache can’t tell you how many times I got Galactus turned into 1000 tokens.

Hydra bob should have come out with a whole suite of cards that interact with snapping so that you could build a snap-themed deck around him, atm hes just a weird gimmick with absolutely no support or synergies.
Made infinite last night (not using Bob), and wanted to see what the top Untapped decks were in my pool. I was shocked to see Hydra Bob decks right there with Arishem. Now, I wouldn't actually call them Hydra Bob decks, as they are really just tempo move and prof x decks, but Bob seemed to be an asset for them statistically. Shocked tbh. I've always enjoyed the character, but I don't think I'm spending on him. But, hey, it's a long week...

Tbh, I run Martyr in both decks I’m playing rn, I’d say in at least 75 games its only screwed me one time, great zero target of course but even if you whiff, you’ll know you’re in a losing position most time anyway and can retreat, imo not a terrible card by any means and I hope people come around!

I recommend anyone with Hydra Bob also give a Black Swan dump deck a try, Hydra Bob and Martyr are both TWICE as big as a normal 1 drop, they make up the size of one full mockingbird, those numbers do add up!

No idea why people are sleeping so hard on Hydra Bob. i'm using him and he is fantastic. 4 power for 1 energy is big and using him to lock up locations then last minute snap and shift power elsewhere where I actually want it or drop something huge there when people get complacent is great. Even had an opponent cause himself to lose a game cause he snapped into a locked location thinking he had won it and sent Bob elsewhere which opened up an easy win condition for me.
