I play with it most of the time, just open it and close it. Letters, boxes, cut rope, and for outdoor use. If I’m working on my garden project or just taking care of weeds around my plants.
My buddy laughs at me all the time and says my knife collection is basically just a bunch of adult fidget spinners. He’s not entirely wrong, I fidget with the knives far more than I actually use them for cutting. A few years back I needed a knife frequently throughout the day but over the last few years I might break down a few boxes and score the peel of a orange or two during a day
At work ALOT, I have designated knives for that though, my other knives that I carry out of work I use randomly and has to match what I'm wearing and how I feel that day, you know, tanto, drop points, etc...
Depends. Some are just basically collection pieces & part time “adult fidget spinners” while others actually get used like they’re supposed to. Honestly I wish I had more tasks that required a knife in my day to day but the last few years each day is maybe a few boxes that need to be broken down, cutting the plastic off some packaging & scoring the peels on an orange 🍊 or two
