- Many of you have requested a POV drive in the Honda FK7. In this video, I went on curvy roads, demonstrated the Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist as well as an unofficial 0-60 time.
Performance wise, I have only installed Eibach lowering springs, PRL short Ram intake and DC Sports Strut Bar. No tune has been done to the car.

Hey
Aye 👋
First again I see.
@@chris_timefk8 yessir. Watching the video right now. Liking the content.
@@chris_timefk8 bro i just bought one and dont l is what the plus and minus buttons are is it just when you drove it sport?
@@alejandrizzle26 If you have a CVT. That's how you engage it in "manual mode"
Looks like you're going way faster! I love this car. I'm on my way in one hour to go test drive and most likely take it home! You sold me, thanks, Chris! I'll be looking at the same year in color as yours. I'm so excited😂
I can’t wait to get my Honda Civic sport 🥴 this year
I just bought a brand new 10th generation Sport manual drive. I'll pick it up on Thursday July 8th
@@antoniorigor7090 congrats 🔥
@Tommy KFP just bought one also
That short ram sounds so goood! Can’t wait to get mine! Still being delivered
This is so cool! Once again came here to say that I love your videos bro and keep doing you! Very underrated channel !
Damn! i love the prl and muffler delete sound!!! i envy you!!!. We have the same model the only difference is the color, i got the sonic grey pearl. Nice video!
Great video, I'll be getting my 2021 Hatchback Sport in the next week or two.
Your channel is growing quick bro! Good job!!
Great POV ! Any plans for a tune ? I just flashed my touring with a Ktuner stage 1 big difference !
Thanks! And yes there will be plans for a tune on the car in the future and I can not wait! Stay tuned!
What’s the difference, I just bought a hatchback sport 2021 to
@@dschnur2002 night and day for me the throttle response is much better specially from start (no more cvt lag) and also the turbo spools up quicker ! Higher boost psi too got up to 21 psi (I think stock is 17 ). As long as you don’t beat on it constantly it should be fairly reliable in the future in concerns of the CVT .
@@Adi-tf4jk if I tune it, can I put it back to normal. Later on
@@dschnur2002 of course there is an option on the flashpro that comes with the ktuner to flash it to its base map at any time ! However just a word of caution the dealership can find out even if you flash it to its base map that the ecu was flashed by pulling datalogs and if something was to go wrong they could void warranty claims . But if you check the civic forums people have been tuned for over 50k miles without any problems and as long as you keep up with maintenance you should be fine .
Nice vid. Was looking to get a 2021 civic sport and you definitely sold me. Got more into the video when I realized you were in my neighborhood hahaha
I’m purchasing same car on Monday but in sonic gray pearl
Thank color is fire on the hatchback!
I have that color on the hatch and it is amazing
How’s your car so far? I’m looking at the dealership for one this Monday! Memorial Day!
Hey bro Ik it’s been 3 years but I was wondering how the car has turned out! I’m looking to get a 2016 🙏🏼
@@jacobcappuccilli5720 can’t speak for anytime else I know Chris made videos where he upgraded to type r and many other vehicle haven’t watched anything recent as for me I got in fender bender had repaired and then traded in car with 16k miles no reason besides wanting a truck over a car I do regret the trade as mine was in 2019 and car held value during covid new truck has depreciated like a rock 😂
I thought I was crazy when the area looked familiar and then you got on the highway and I saw the Philly and Valley Forge signs! Can't believe the POV didn't include the drive on Kelly/Lincoln drive! Subbed for Philly
G’day Chris, another great vid bud👍
Hey are you having any problems with the piano black on the outside scratching? It’s driving me nuts
Cool little video man. You gotta get that downpipe and front pipe in there. She sounds throaty as is, would sound even better with those two. Plus youd have plenty more power and quicker spool.
Chris amazing 👏🏽👏🏽 thanks for sharing your videos good job Chris🔥🔥
Also just a suggestion, but try Marvel Mystery oil in your oil mixture to help keep the turbo lubed. I used it in my GTI and it was awesome. Just replace 1/2 quart with the mystery oil. Its amazing. You can put it in your gas too.
Love the video! The car sounds awesome!
Will the muffler delete pass inspection in Pennsylvania? No cel? I'm a Pittsburgh guy!! Great channel!!!
It will not pass. Unless you know some shops 🤫
I recently moved in the Pittsburgh area! 😀
Can you do a video on the sport manual mode?
Hey bro love the videos! I have a 2021 civic sport also and was wondering how often do you wash yours?
I have a 2020 hatchback sport and I wash mine every two weeks .
@@bryan_mjrd1398 oh sweet I was planning on that, but didn’t know if it was too much haha
I wash mine at least once a week or every 2 weeks depending on what the weather would be like.
I use wax every 2 and a half months
@@chris_timefk8 lol, I kept my 08 ex, so my 2020 sport stays in the garage in bad weather!
Love your videos man just got myself a hatch as well, can I drive in sport and not use the paddle shifters
Yes u can and switch back to drive when ever
I just did a muffler delete on my hatchback today and it got way louder lmao! Planning on doing an intake in the future.
Plan on keeping it that way or put on a custom muffler?
@@19jiraiya I'll probably keep it that way for now, but to be honest I have mixed feelings about it. It's nice to hear your exhaust when you rev, but you sacrifice cabin noise at the same time.
@@ArnelZapataJr bro I tried the muffler delete but that cabin noise was just too much after some time. Went ahead and put on a magnaflow. Still got a deep sound to it (big as much) and the drone is essentially non existent. What did you have in mind?
@@19jiraiya what is a magnaflow btw? Do you have the link for it?
@@ArnelZapataJr it’s the name brand of the muffler I installed
Can u add which Short ram you have? I just got my car Saturday I love it
hey chris, can you make a video on how and when to use the paddle shifters ?
The pedal shifters are there for looks IMO. CVT transmission kinda does it’s own thing. lol
Play a game called csr racing on android and ios it tells you
@@WhatsThePoint01 that’s what I thought but dads civic has paddle shifters and mine doesn’t it and I’m jealous because the computer actually downshifts nicely lol
my first car I love it
It sounds a bit anoying due to the muffler delete, but it's a nice video. I find the CVT of that car pretty good.
The CVT is very underrated, like, literally. They dyno at about 190/196 HP/TQ at stock. Not the 180/177 Honda says. That’s pretty good for a car under 3k pounds.
@@marcusmcneal7453 yes Honda CVTS are amazing, they are really responsive and fun to drive. Best part is that they are actually reliable. I have the accord coupe 2.4. The car has 185 hp. It feels like it’s got more power then that cause it pulls really strong and the power is instant.
I agree, Honda does a very good job with their CVTs. They feel very similar to traditional 6 speed automatics. Unlike NISSAN 🤮
@@-nightraider-1169 I have a 2016 lxs coupe love it
Just got my Honda Civic EX 2019. Looks exactly like this car. Except for the rim design.
I wondered if I bought this car in the vid, then realized mine is an ex lol.
I have had my sport touring hatch for about 2 years and honestly, i feel like the cvt is very fragile. I use paddles quite often and I do notice a difference. Might have to do something about the trans.
Does the check engine light turn on at all when getting a muffler delete? Cus i wanna get one on my hatch too
Nope. Definitely worth getting a a muffler delete 😄
Hey do you know how much that muffler delete was ? And also your performance filter ?
I miss my ten gen I’m getting another one
Where is this? The area looks really nice!
does the intake make the turbo sound like that or what’d you get done to it to sound like that
Just a short ram intake from PRL no tune needed👌
I plan on tuning my hatch within the next month would it be best to upgrade the intercooler first before tuning?
If you live in an area where it gets very hot, yes.
But with mine I had no issues. Yet
When you gonna upload the center console wrap vid ?
I'm thinking of getting one of these but the manual transmission. Worth it?
Yes. They are super fun cars and good looking too!
Could you do an installation guide for the side markers maybe?
they’re super simple watch another video on it
I love the 10th gen interior. With the 11th gen coming out shortly i hope they leave it a bit like the "space ship" style interior.
the new interior looks way nicer
@@mvrk7773 not even a little bit
I believe the dash tells you when to paddle shift correct?
No.
POV ALL DAY EVERY DAY! Lol
What % tints you running on? Im planning to get my tints done this summer. Great video btw!
Just got tints 20% is perfect!! If your window doesnt already have a smoke tint and its all clear id go directly to 20% remember that if like your back wondow already has a smokey tint to go woth a highpercent so its not different shades like if i did all 20% and my back window is smoked then it will be darker then the rest but i had all clear fish bowl windows lol and i got 20% on all of them i also got the sun strip tint in the front it looks good highly recommend
@@tavlogs5015 Sounds good, i am planning on a 35% fronts and 20% rears + back windshield. Im scared 20% all around would be too dark
Am i the only person that never uses cruise control? 😂 even on my old project cars i ripped it out
i never use it either
Same! And yes, I rip it out of any projects I own. 90s tech for cruise control is junk anyway lol
I use mine it’s smooth as hell. Made me go from averaging 20 to 35 and still going up.
@@mcinnisthemenace216 how are u only averaging 20? Lol even in sports mode im averaging 30
@@justinhildebrand1515 always had my foot the throttle for no reason. I broke out of that habit.
Have you ever used the shift paddles?
Is that a type r wing
Any idea what that the spot between Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Assist is supposed to be for? I I haven't seen the Touring model in person, but it feels like it's just an empty spot where a button should be. Like how the left side has 3 buttons at the bottom.
Not sure either but It's probably just there for display purposes and serves no functionality whatsoever 😀
@@chris_timefk8 Yay more plastic. I guess there's an argument for symmetry lol.
Did u buy that wing?
Just got mine don’t know what to add to it for sound and performance
Intake and exhaust. Check out my PRL intake and muffler delete videos for sounds.
hey chris are your windows tinted ? if so, how much percent did you get and how much did it cost ?
Why muffler delete on such a low power car?
How would you rate the audio system of the civic hatchback sport?
6.5/10
Not much bass.
Something seems to rattle somewhere on the door or dash when listening to high volume.
But it’s ok. For medium volume. Enough bass.
oil dilution?
I don’t understand why people get the sport when you can get the EX for an extra like thousand dollars and it’s faster and has sunroof
What % tint do you have
35%
It's a good-looking car on the road and it would look better-looking after some modifications.
Want
I got dizzy watching this video
INsane
Buying this car without a manual transmission is a crime!
What type of hatchback is it and what year??
