I'm sorry but when are we as a collective going to boycott Mattel? As a 30 year old who has grown up with the original American girl dolls and monster high dolls, it literally pains my heart what Mattel is doing. The quality has absolutely gone to shit, with monster high, American girl, barbie (even though I was never a barbie collector, the quality decrease is so blatantly obvious.) Yet Mattel will use nostalgia to get people to buy these dolls meanwhile they give us shitty quality, and a higher and higher price point year after year. Yet people want to shit talk MGA about their prices, however look at the quality MGA is giving us while proving they actually LISTEN and CARE about their customers. For example the collector Lily Cheung doll was $80 but the quality was IMPECCABLE, with a second outfit, accessories, and just overall a doll and gorgeous pieces that in my opinion are worth the price. MGA'S playline dolls are worth more in my opinion then the bullshit quality Mattel has been putting out for their "collector" dolls. It's sad because they know that people love monster high and American girl so much they will still purchase them because they're hanging on to what these dolls USED to be. Mattel is greedy, money hungry, and doesn't give a shit about their consumers. Take for example Mattel creations and how it's been YEARS since their loyal customers have been pointing out the flaws with the website with bots and resellers. But have they done anything? Nah because Mattel doesn't care about us. They only care about money. And it's evident in this cheap excuse of a "collector" doll, which will still sell out in .2 seconds, and people will say Mattel "slayed" this release. Please. I wish people would open their eyes and show Mattel that we are worth more than the crap they think it's acceptable to give us for ridiculous prices. People should look at the quality Mattel is putting out vs what MGA is putting out. It's not even a competition, yet people will still complain about spending $30 on an amazing quality rainbow high doll but won't blink an eye spending $75 for this cheap ass quality with no effort put into design and execution, just because it's monster high. I'm over it. I LOVE monster high, but at this point I'm not giving a cent of my money to Mattel and their greed. Thank you for attending my Ted talk.
Also, can you imagine the amazingness we would get if MGA owned Monster High? Amazing Rainbow high and LOL OMG quality and attention to detail for our fabulous ghouls? I can only dream... For now I'm done with the disrespect and disappointment from Mattel.

She’s so cheap looking. I like her color scheme and that’s about it. I can’t believe the quality drop between last years HC dolls and these. And they have the audacity to charge the same amount.

Mattel is having their cake and eating it too. They're playing us all and apparently it's working... they came out with G3 that was directed towards their immediate consumer base which is children... and then for us older monster high collectors who miss G1 they come out with dolls that are at best the same quality as the play line monster high dolls of the 2010's yet they'll call them "collector" dolls and charge us $75 instead of $25. Play line monster high dolls from 10 years ago had more detail and accesories for a third of the cost. This is an actual joke. Yet everyone is eating it up. I for one am done with Mattel.
Thanks for posting this so quickly to help inform my opinions. I really do like this Frankie, but not for 75 bucks. Certainly not for 75 plus tax plus 12-14 dollar shipping. Like for the doll you get and what she comes with I cannot throw away that much of my doll budget on a doll that's worth like 20 dollars less. I won't do it. Worst of all apparently PayPal was removed as an option so my primary way of getting one is gone too
She's a gorgeous doll just not 75 worth, maybe like 40-45

They're amazing, the only thing I don't understand is why there's no brush, diary... The box looks so empty now, they definitely should have lowered the price with all the things they cut off

Not worth 75 dollars
They’re gorgeous ✨ but not sure they’re worth 70 dollars when a 40 dollar rainbow high doll comes with 2 outfits of the same quality and accessories 🤔

I Hope they do more green with Frankie in the future. But this doll just doesn't seem worth 75$ It looks about as good quality as howliday Drac. Who was worth the 45$ to me. 45$ maybe, 75$ naw. Good luck to everyone who tries to get them.

The mask is so bulky it ruins everything..such a shame. This whole line feels like a joke to me.. no diary, no good stand, no brush, no pattern on the sides + Inside and minimal fashion. So tired of mattel. Skipping on them all.
People getting angry for the quality and the price. For these dolls u don't pay for the quality, it's limited edition, meaning u pay for the low quantity of dolls. That's why the convention dolls are more pricey, even tho sometimes the clothes are so simple.
And also comparing with MGA or any other brands, we have to ask ourselves do these dolls are made in factory where employees are well paid and treated. It's like comparing Shein with others brands, there's a reason why items are cheap, why the amount of detail can be different from brand to brand, personnaly I want transparency from MGA and Mattel about the condition of their factories.
This collection is definitely a filler. No thought was put into it, the design quality is immensely lacking probably rushed, they went cheap with accessories and packaging. Mattel obviously wants to promote and sell a doll every month and this is a filler collection just to fill the months when they don’t have actual good and better designed dolls to sell. I rather wait months for better quality and thought out designs that are released every so often than this. Kind of disappointed with Rebecca too. I wouldn’t attach my name to this collection if I was her and it seems she’s quiet about this. That or she didn’t lead this collection.
