attack the satori for 5 and 7 with leader/okiku to either kill it or force 3 cards then play momo to heal the okiku to life and establish a blocker essentially healing 2. you insulate yourself from most aggresive things yamato can dish out and you make it to your 9 don turn so you can start dropping 9 cost yamato. nope lets play a 7 cost mom and die to anything because our hand has negative counter
As an enel player for the whole 05 and still going now into 06, enel love to be at one life, as fast as possible if you want to say that.. after the second banish, enel is actually on a really good position.. i think he misplayed playing the yamato, i would rather play the momonosuke
Just found your channel dude. You have a good commentator style, imo. I don’t usually watch tournaments because all of the commentators want to act like it’s the NFL or WWE and be over the top with their reactions to things. Definitely got a sub from me my guy. Also a small suggestion that’s just a little bit of a nitpick, especially for these championship final commentaries, since you mentioned you have the deck lists in front of you in order to be able to know what cards they’re playing, why not post them in the description? Otherwise, this is an excellent video and I look forward to more from you!

he could have since Enel was at 2 life, but I guess they just assumed they had no counter in hand? The only reason I can think of not doing it is because Onami is a 3k body, so theoretically you could have swung with her. He probably didn't use the leader effect to swing Onami since it would just help cycle the Enel's hand off of their leader effect.
Came back to this video and realized maybe this guy swung naked 5 satori because he wanted to test his hand/rip cards a bit to starve him out before setting out lethal

I wouldn’t say unoptimally, just unlucky as the enel player has a distinct lack of counter so they couldn’t hold off until late game as Yamato is very aggressive
i assume Sky island build does carry a bit of counters, dont know how he built his deck @@Toasted_Crisps But in general, Every Enel player i see in championships has not done well, and i really like the deck

Nami's not the problem I think. A very good card, but in reality its a one for one. Summon it give banish one life. Thus 1 card for 1. Its yamato and her free double attack that makes it busted. Along with Yamato effect to make Nami a 1 cost in reality by attaching two rested don.

The Onami with the double Attack is to strong....hope they banned this card. Thats ridiculous...i want to play yamato in op06 but for the Game is better to banned the onami 😅
double attack still only counts as one attack if it lands they take 2 life or as much as possible ie: he only had one life, the leader isnt actually attacking twice
Double attack is not two attacks, but 2 damage. The key word really needs to be changed to Double Damage instead of double attack. I get A LOT of newbies at locals misinterpreting the double attack key word.
