Yea, Pokemon’s sustained success is bad for other TCG’s. People don’t understand how many TCG’s die in the first 5 years. They will lose their investment, and kill the game. OP is huge in AZ right now at least, so that’s good. Hard to find product though

Target and Walmart will always be the cheapest but good luck finding them there. Where I live we have a small army of scalpers camping out every week to scoop up anything valuable to resell at insane prices, so I haven’t seen a single pack of OP cards the past 2 years.

Some probably will play them just to show them off, but I think they know most would keep them in a collection or sell them off. Not everyone plays the game either. I only collect them (although I am interested in playing it too, I just feel weird about being a 42 year old dude getting into his first card game with all these youngsters. The new game is very much in the mold of One Piece including pull rates. The twist with Fusion World is that the SRs are textured and very nice. alt arts are a bit muted, comparatively.
